Constructed by the King of Bhutan in the praise of Lord Buddha, the Royal Buddha Monastery showcases important instances from the life of Lord Buddha. A lot of tourists visit this popular monastery owing to its traditional architecture in the form of clay carvings.

This monastery also has a temple along with a rest house which is meant for Buddhist monks. The 7-feet high Buddha shrine instated at the temple is beautifully carved with Buddhist sculptures. You can also stay here as the monastery provides spacious rooms (along with bathrooms), 24-hour room service and a home-like experience.
