Sint Nicolaaskerk, better known as Basilica of St. Nicholas, is the main Catholic church in Amsterdam. Located opposite the Central Station, this Roman Catholic church was built between the years 1884 and 1887 and restored in a very beautiful manner in 1999. While services in Dutch are held here every day, you can also attend services in Spanish on Fridays and Saturdays. Depending on these services and some special events, Sint Nicolaaskerk is open to public for a few hours daily. If you wish, you can also opt for one of the guided tours which take place in groups of 7.
