As the name suggests, the museum was built with the aim of preserving valuable ancient utensils. Vechaar (Vishalla Environmental Centre for Heritage of Art, Architecture and Research) was founded by Mr. Surendra Patel in 1981. Being an interior designer and restauranter, it was his idea to preserve utensils.

You will be absolutely amazed and delighted to see different shapes of spoons, forks, knives casseroles, frying pans, jugs and kettles in various metals including copper, brass, clay, bronze, terracotta zinc and even German silver.

  • Opening Closing Time 1 pm to 3 pm and 5 pm to 10:30 pm on all days of the week, all the year round

  • Entrance Fee Rs. 5 for children between 3 to 11 years of age and Rs. 10 for anyone above 11 years
