About Glasgow (GLA)

Glasgow is the third largest city in the United Kingdom after London and Birmingham. The city is located on the River Clyde in the West Central Lowlands that makes it an ideal tourist destination all across the country. It became an important and a major centre of the Scottish Enlightenment in the 18th century. Today, the city has become one of Europe's top ten financial centres.
