People who like to stay in deep forest and feel forest atmosphere this is Best best place to stay. Hotel owner guides super way. But couple who come only 2 people will be had to start at nights. Because no generator backup, and very dark at nights.

I find this hotel is very pleasant, very calm. It is very near to Bus stop. So don't worry about your future trips. Periyar boating pick up point is also at walkable distance. If you are hungry, you are surrounded with lots of hotel. If you are a veggy and north Indian, you can try Himalaya restaurant. I have found this hotel clean. But don't expect much as its a budget hotel.

Nice cottage. Stay was good. But Hot water was not available. Tv was not working. Apart from this nice environment. Cottage was in nice spot. Rooms were clean and tidy. Owner behaviour is very polite and nice.
