According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at the hotel. The identification proofs accepted are Drivers License, Voters Card, Passport, Ration Card. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in.

The primary guest checking in to the hotel must be at least 18 years of age. Children accompanying adults must be between 1-12 years.

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. After booking you will be sent an email confirmation with hotel phone number. You can contact the hotel directly for early check-in or late check-out.

The room tariff includes all taxes. The amount paid for the room does not include charges for optional services and facilities (such as room service, mini bar, snacks or telephone calls). These will be charged at the time of check-out.

Pay at Checkout

    The services provided was not up to the mark. Had to face trouble while checking in. The reception person declined the booking at first and later it was solved after two hours. They food quality was poor too.

    Only thing positive about sana hill top is the view from the rooms and terrace you get if the hills and valleys. Every other thing about this hotel is negative. This is largely attributed to the lack of staff in the hotel. Basic amenities like food and 24 hrs running water are not in place. Also if you want to hire a cab for going to some place like rishop/njp do not get it from the hotel. I went to rishop by hiring a cab through the hotel. The driver did not drop me at the prefixed place.

    The view of surrounding from the terrace is probably the best in the town... It's truly coffee with Kanchenjunga... The only positive side of the property. The last but not the least the lady manager was too courteous...

    The hotel gives you a lovely 180 degree view with the Kalimpong town on your right and the Sikkim mountains on your left if you stand in the balcony, and in the backdrop is the mount Kanchenjunga. This was something which I loved the most... But as the location is little away from the main town therefore we had no other option but to have food from the hotel itself which we had to order well in time and was priced on the higher side... Taste wise it was OK though... And very neatly served. The hotel is in fact very clean but as it is managed by only 2 people one being the receptionist and the other being the cook cum caretaker therefore I feel as guests v need to be little patient at times. One important thing I must say here is that it's better if you take down some local taxi driver's numbers with you from the bus/ Jeep stand... Who could come and pick you up for sightseeing or shopping.. They charge rs. 150/- per pick up from the hotel to the main town ( I'm talking about Jan 2017) because as earlier said this hotel is in such a location that you cannot get a cab hired by just walking for a while from the hotel... We had therefore fixed a local driver of a Maruti omni van from the bus stand itself who took us for sight seeing at Rs. 1000/- and for Rishyap, Lava and Lolegaon trip at Rs. 3000/- on dropped us back to the hotel by evening.

    It is located very far from the marketplace, that is the only disadvantage otherwise the hotel is very good, it is in a quiet locality and each floor has a large terrace from where you can have a very good view of Kanchenjunga range on a clear day, you can also see whole town from the terrace. We had booked standard room, but standard room has squat toilet which we were not informed about and my wife could not use it as she has rod in her leg but the manager Ms. Anamika was very nice and helpful she upgraded our room at no extra cost, she would also come to the room to ask us if we needed anything. In our whole trip of about 45 days to Sunderbans, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Kalimpong, Puri and Bhubaneswar we did not get such a nice treatment. I think because the hotel is located so far from the market we enjoyed more, because near the market it is too congested and noisy.
