I was the only one staying in that bay. There was no watchman for this section. No current, no wi fi, no water in the room. Being a wild lifer i was able to manage. Family crowd cant stay here

We had a great stay at thapovan. Good food, great ambiance, very helpful and humble staff, great hospitality. It was amazing! we will certainly come back. Also, we came on our bikes and one thing we were sceptical about was the approach roads because we usually have this problem with farm stays and or resorts in hilly destinations. The good news is this property is completely accessible by good roads and all the way upto our own cottages within the premises.

This place is really cool. I would certainly recommend this resort to anyone who want to spend just plain simple lazy life for few days. Just eat, sleep and occasionally do some waking or cycling among nature! this place is child and elderly people friendly.

We had a very pleasant stay at thapovan. The service was great. We had booked for super deluxe villa that has two rooms with two bathrooms and can accommodate 4 persons (or more if you're okay. All the villas provide a lush green view of the forest. You get to wake up to the sound of birds singing in the morning including peacocks. However, the food is on the average side. My suggestion would be to stick to south indian food. Also, the property is situated far off from the main kodaikanal city (about 35kms) but i don't think they would've gotten such a big area within the city if not. So, do plan your trip accordingly. Have a great trip. No

A perfect holiday destination for peaceful mind and some sporty activities mixed with traditional south Indian food to satisfy your taste buds. Only You and Nature. Enjoy the nature to full extent till you get tired. Recommended for a perfect 2 day holiday stay. Pros: 1. Only nature with 360 degrees of green around you. 2. Ambient weather conditions. 3. Traditional home made food with good taste. 4. Good hospitality by all staff members. 5. Many play activities which keeps both children and adults occupied. 6. Separate villa for each guest which feel like our own home. Cons: 1. No network coverage in villa except near restaurant. 2. Interrupted power during rains and bad weather.

Peacefully stay without any gadgets

Resort is in good location. It is good for both family and bachelors. Regarding food, the dinner is good but complimentary BREAKFAST was very bad, instead they can charge us for breakfast and give good food. Rooms look good but not maintained, found many insects inside room. Regarding activities, there is not much as they have advertised. Best part of the resort is they do not have any network coverage in that location so we can stay peacefully without any gadgets.
