The Devpur Darbargadh (small fort) was built in 1905 is located in central Kutch. Built in a two acre area it took three years to complete the construction. Built of local sandstone in the classically ornamental Roha (Kutch) style, it consists of portico, courtyards, stucco pavilions and pillared ha
lls. The Darbargadh is now also listed as a member of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage due to its historical and artistic importance. Since 1994 The White Eagles School is being run by the family in the same campus. The spacious heritage rooms are all different but warm and comfortable, with en suite modern bathrooms, living and dining areas. Breakfast is inclusive in the tariff and Kutchi / Indian or continental meals are served in a vintage dining room or in your personalised dining areas.
