Hotel Planet Residency

Didn't have much high expectations to begin with since it was a 3-star rated property. Location of the property is good for someone who wants to stay near to airport or in vile parle. Connectivity with autos and cabs is easy. The property itself is decent in cleanliness and appearance. They do tend to use strong smelling cleaners which are not very pleasant though. The rooms are small for 2 people and the washrooms could have been better equipped as the fittings looked really dated and have small issues - be it no rest for back while sitting on wc, leaking basin taps, slippery bathroom tiles etc. The ergonomics of the room are slightly awkward with very few plug points, light controls all on one side o bed etc. The key card, touch mechanism was modern and very efficient. The property does not offer lunch or dinner and the breakfast included in the package is of very poor quality with hardly any variety and the food i had both days was not of good taste or variety and it had turned cold by 9 - with very hard pooris, dried up poha. The timing of breakfast are hurried too as it ends by 9:30 am. Overall the lowest point of the Hotel Planet Residency was this. The staff was great though - very responsive, courteous and helpful. They are present round the clock and are very attentive.

Very nice and clean Hotel Planet Residency. The staff was also very supportive. The location of the Hotel Planet Residency is also good. Everything is perfect. I recommend this property for travellers. Close to Airport and BKC also.

miss you Planet Residency for some time. It is really painful to hear that this Hotel Planet Residency will remain closed for some time to renovation . It will emerge out in a new smart look . Best wishes

stay was good, rooms were neat & clean. they didn't have dinner facility but a very good restaurant was near by. breakfast was buffet and it was quite good. the Hotel Planet Residency is quite in location.
