BACKPACKER'S NEST

The hostel is located in Choj village, you have to climb a little to reach there. It is surrounded by mountains and the constant sound of River stream. The owner Mr. Gajendra and his friends are really warm and welcoming. They make you feel at home. The common room is a place where everybody gathers, talks, watches something on laptop and so on. I don't smoke. So at times it was suffocating for me to sit in that room for long but if you do smoke, it's a cozy room. There are too many flies around the room. There was a creepy assistant there tom, who tried to run his fingers over my body when I was sleeping and then on confrontation denied completely. But thanks to the owner Mr. Gajendra who took care that this man doesn't sleep beside me in the dormitory any more. So apart from this creepy man rest all was great.

Raju bhai, the caretaker, was very friendly and takes care of the guests very well. His cooking is amazing. Gajendra, the host, was also very helpful and friendly. A dog lover should visit the place as they have three labs and a family of nine Huskies.

A nice place to stay for single, couple, group of friends anyone. The hostel is very clean situated at an ideal distance from CHOJ Village. Especially food is very tasty, might be a bit costlier depending upon the location. Especially Mr. Raju Ji is very entertaining guy over there, he will help you with anything and everything from making food to humorous etc. Will recommend to give it a try atleast once while visiting Kasol.

The stay here was pretty good. The Huskies, keeps messing with the cleanliness of the place. Otherwise, it is a pretty peaceful place to stay. I had a good company, whenever I stayed here.
