Misleading photos and advertisement, bad hygiene, no cleanliness, dirty smelly rooms, unclean bedsheets and comforters, smelly pillows. Not even slippers were available in the room. Paid for the premium room with jacuzzi but the money is wasted. The jacuzzi was very dirty

Staff members were very sweet and helpful. We had an amazing experience at the hotel. The hotel is at a prime location. Very easily accessible to the mall road. Service is great and i would highly recommend this place just for its hospitality.

When we arrived at the hotel, the staff initially appeared to be very well-behaved, but in reality, their behavior was not good. Whenever we made a complaint about anything, their response was quite rude. In terms of cleanliness as well, the condition of the rooms and bathrooms was poor — it can be described as bad. Overall, it was not a good experience.

Property is good but staff need to be trained as the reception lady refused everything even cleaning the rooms, towels. If promoters of the hotel oversee these things then it will be good otherwise staff will decrease its rating.

Room provided was not upto the mark , corner most room given which is very conjested by design and gets heated due to sunlight. Room given supposed to be deluxe room did not justify the photos of the property mentioned while booking.

They will attract you while showing good amibent in hotel so called 4 star. But They have any manner of hospitality.I had worst experience of staying there . No one is answering your quires from room. Even you calling for food or house keeping

It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Royal Retreat, Shimla. It was my 3rd time stay here with my family and again it met my expectations. Many thanks to hotel staff for the hospitality. Location of hotel is good (walkable to mall road) with lot of parking space. Rooms are exactly the same as shown in pictures and were provided with all necessary amenities. Best part is the buffet breakfast which had good variety of food items and was very delicious. Many thanks to entire hotel staff for the wonderful stay.

We had a pleasant stay at Royale Retreat. The surrounding is beautiful and green.Their location is accessible by car , they provide blanket to our can drivers which is very kind. The buffet breakfast is good and overall a good location to nearby attractions, would definitely visit again !!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel near Mall Road, Shimla. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the main shopping and dining areas, yet peaceful enough to enjoy the serene beauty of the hills. The rooms were clean, cozy, and offered a beautiful view of the valley. The staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting Shimla!
