Review Of Ocean Beach View Gokarna

Honest Review: The hotel is quite far from the Gokarna temple. You can only manage to visit nearby places if you have your own bike or car. However, even if you do, you’ll likely face parking issues, as the resort does not have any dedicated parking space. The resort is also not road-touch. There is no direct access — you have to pass through another property and a field to reach the beach, and then walk from the beach to the resort. The staff were uncooperative and not helpful at all. Every time I tried calling them, their phone was out of network. They don’t seem to care about check-in or check-out timings either. Although they claim it’s a sea-facing property, I don’t think that’s accurate. It’s close to the beach — you can reach the shore in about a minute — but it’s not exactly sea-facing. On the positive side, the rooms are good, the beds are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant.

The stay is very calm. Staff is very good. They helped in a lot. I like the stay a lot

The property owners were very coorparative and helpful, they managed everything so well and were there for us any time we needed them, absolutely appreciate their service

the stay was nice it is amazingly close to the beach, the rooms are decent for the price you are paying. it's a good walk from where your scooty is parked but if you'll see the beach you'll will walk even twice as much, believe me. 9/10 would recommend and go again here myself.

It was a basic accommodation the came with a budget. So not much to expect. The owner was himself the property manager and was very hospitable. He helped us in moving our luggage and service was very friendly and prompt. The had a restaurant which had very tasty and hygienic food and was very affordable too

The place was very cozy and clean, very near to the beach. The owner/caretaker is very sweet and deligient to all our needs. The top floor rooms give a wonderful vacation vibe.

The stay was good and it was near the beach and the rooms were clean. The only problem is no geysers in the washroom and parking area is too far.

No direct access to the location. We have to walk half an km to reach the room stay. Services are good since they're new to the business. If we go directly to the room it costs 1500- but makemytrip charges us 1850.

very bad experience during reaching to this hotel. Not proper road and lights to reach the hotel. No any concern about tourist safety.

Washrooms were not clean, there was water leakage issue and water force is also not good in jet spray and taps

Rooms were totally different which is shown in the picture, and the owner was not ready to provide a standard room which he shared with us via whatsapp. He argued a lot to provide room even though he told us to cancel the booking at the time of check-in and parking is not available there, hot water was not available 24/7 we had requested him to bring hot water in a bucket. Food was not included in our booking. Overall it was a very bad experience there to stay

The property was cozy. It has its own space. Very close to beach only 20m. But the access to place is through a farm so you have to park you vehicle at the road. But that is with every place that is near the beach. So overall it's good

Property is well located near beach. Rooms are nice. But during the day it gets very humid. Rooms don’t have ac. The manager sindhura is helpful and attentive.

The room is good but lacks some amenities like geyser and cupboards. The location is a bit difficult to reach, so i have to walk around 300m. The ocean view is blocked with trees. Difficult to come to the room during the night due to the lack of lights. Food is available in nearby cafe. Onsite parking is also not available. You have to park 300m away from the stay.

Place is nearly in center of city and 1 min away from a private beach, has lots of places to eat near the beach and is a secluded place so no large number of groups when we were there.

That gokarna property is not good, it doesn't have basic facilities. 1. It's 400 meter away from road, we had to cross farmland to reach there. 2. Shared parking is almost 500 meter away from property. 3. Penthouse was mentioned in property description, however it's not a penthouse. They have small rooms, with small sealing fan, no wardrobe, no water geyser etc. 4. I called property owner and informed about the checkout. He just replied that keep the key outside the door. There is no one to attend/help you once you check-in.
