Review Of Hotel Devoy Inn by Namastexplorer Tapovan

We had an extremely bad experience at Hotel Devoy Inn, Tapovan, Rishikesh. We strongly advise no one to book this hotel — it was a complete waste of money and time. The toilet was filthy and in unhygienic condition. Room floors were sticky, dirty, and clearly not cleaned properly. The TV was not working, and basic facilities were missing. There were loose, dangerous electric wires hanging near the bed, which is a major safety hazard. When we complained, instead of solving the issue, the hotel staff rudely asked us to check out immediately without any refund. And that’s not all: Despite paying the full booking amount in advance, they charged an extra ₹300 for the driver, which was never disclosed earlier. Parking was completely unsafe — we had to check on our car multiple times during the night. The hotel had even put a notice saying they are not responsible for car safety, even though parking was included in the booking. This hotel is highly unprofessional, unsafe, and unhygienic. Avoid it at all costs! They only know how to collect money — zero service, zero responsibility.

Nice location just a kilometre to ramjula, very friendly staff especially chand in reception very warmth feeling all the staff specially chand took care of us so well, u name it u get it nice people, there is pub front of hotel there is a loud music till 10 that is the only disturbance other wise everything is good

Very good experience with hotel staff, room facilities are also good! car parking was also available

The staff are helpful and friendly. There is cooking available inside the hotel. The hotel is situated in tapovan which is on the north side of the town. There are autos to get to ram jhula in about 20 minutes.
