Review Of Hotel Alaknanda on the Ganges Haridwar

My friend advise me the location or review of hotel is very nice and the food are also good service of staff are good

Location is excellent. Rest everything including food, service, room is pathetic.

Thank you the property was nice, room service could have been slightly faster but the rooms were very clean and well maintained and also the staff shortage was there but mostly staff was polite even if a little slow. Proximity to ganges and har ki Pauri is useful

The location is excellent with large parking space. However the rooms are in very poor state with plaster falling off the walls. The furniture, bed and mattress are quite old. The cleanliness of room, washrooms and the entire hotel is poor. Complimentary breakfast Menu was quite limited, with only 4 options of Alu Parontha, Poori bhaji and Poha. Overall not a good experience for the stay for which we paid Rs . 5500 per room per night

The location of Hotel is excellent and unmatchable. The property is very old and requires maintenance. Despite having been located on serene Alaknanda Ghat of Ganges, the apathy of Government in not giving attention is writ large. The staff is helpful and will attend to whatever they can do within their limitations.

Excellent location on the banks of Ganga. Almost Pvt Ghat. Peaceful stay. very nice views from the balcony. Delicious food homemade like food. very cooperative staff.

Only the location is good. Rest everything is bad, especially the service and house keeping. Bed and blanket cleanliness was not upto the mark. had to get them changed. The bathroom is 1 foot above ground level, windows broken, difficult to use it in night time when it will be visible from outside. When we reached the hotel, the big parking lot was full. No one assisted us to park. The reason was that a lot of outsiders who were not staying in the hotel were using the Ganga ghat. The only plus point is its location, else it is a typical sarkari hotel. But honestly, I have stayed in so many other GMVN properties earlier. The experience here was typically bad.

The best part of the property in location on main road and private ghat. Rooms are getting old (though we found them properly clean). Bathroom also clean. staff was courteous..

Best hospitality ! Great Ganga location hotel . The food is good and so is their service . There is lift and enough space in Suite and Executive suite for a family. The price is reasonable and a huge parking at the entry. It is wheelchair accessible for senior citizens . I loved it .

Apart from location and view, every thing is just ZERO. If you stay in this hotel, sit in garden or Ganga kinare, order food from Zomato. Go to room in night, keep lights off so you should not see dirtiness / old and dirty bedsheets/ torn curtains / 5 types of different switches on a single switches board. List is too long. But location and back view is best in Haridwar

we booked 2 AC rooms and were alloted room no 202, 203. facilities included was WIFi support, but they didnt have this in those rooms. this also cause of alarm dor your platform..selling false promises is bad.

Great stay experience i recommend my family & friends to stay in the property in Haridwar it is a very good.

Location is nice the best location in Haridwar. But food quality is avg. service is good but overall worth of price. I will like to go next time again

good propery easy access from main road, on the bank of ganga. had good time with friends here. slightlh old propert but not out of fashion. the heatera in room are helpful in winter

Well connected with nh on one side and on another side flows river ganga ji with beautiful clean ghats. These ghats are well connected till har ki paudi where you can have morning or eve walk and in winters sun lord will bestow his blessings.
