I booked the hotel based on the property details and instructions mentioned. However, when I tried to check in, the staff informed me that only a Non-AC room was available at the booked rate, and I would need to pay an additional ₹500 for an AC room. I argued with them citing the details on the site, but they refused a refund since the booking was made through the app. I had no option but to check in. On entering the room, I found it extremely disappointing—there was no TV, the room was unhygienic and unclean, and the bathroom was in a horrible condition. If I had any other option, I would have escalated the issue further instead of staying there.
