Terrible Stay
Review for: 3BHK Aurelia Luxury Villa with Pvt Pool... (Lonavala) Actual Experience: We booked the Aurelia Luxury Villa but were called by the owner just one day before arrival. We were told the Aurelia property was damaged and were pressured to move to their alternative, "Cascade Villa." The Nightmare at Cascade Villa We had no other option, as finding a last-minute property for a family with children and an elderly mother was impossible. The alternative property, Cascade Villa, was absolutely horrible. Location: It is situated in a horrible, remote, and difficult-to-access location. Maintenance & Cleanliness: The villa was a "house of insects" and severely lacked maintenance. Safety & Security: There were no functional locks on any bathroom doors. Basic Amenities: Water was constantly leaking (water coming), indicating poor plumbing. Staff: The caretaker was a young boy, appearing to be only 15-17 years old, which is unacceptable for guest service and responsibility. Final Verdict: Do not risk booking the Aurelia Villa, as you may be subjected to a last-minute switch to an unacceptable and unsafe property like Cascade Villa. The owner's conduct was completely unprofessional, leaving us helpless.

I informed you two days before check-in, not one, about the Aurelia Villa issue and offered Cascade Villa only after your video call confirmation and WhatsApp consent. You also mentioned you needed the villa just for a night stay and were not particular about luxury. The villa is in Nangargaon, Lonavala, a well-known and easily reachable area (please verify on Google Maps). It was cleaned properly before your arrival, but insects may have entered later as the back door was left open. The main caretaker is his mother, and her son only helped due to the festive rush — we strictly do not support child labour. No one forced you to stay; you could have cancelled anytime for a full refund. Please avoid spreading false or misleading comments, as they directly affect our small family business. You checked out on the 24th and posted this on the 26th, which feels unfair after a completed stay.
