Ideally situated in the heart of Narlai village, Rawla Narlai is an exquisite heritage hotel lying en route to Jodhpur and Udaipur
Ideally situated in the heart of Narlai village, Rawla Narlai is an exquisite heritage hotel lying en route to Jodhpur and Udaipur in rustic Rajasthan. An ancient 17th century fort, Rawla Narlai was meticulously refurbished by Maharaja Swaroop Singh together with his wife and sons, retaining the traditional rich heritage while perfectly blending it with modern lavish comforts. Located in proximity to Udaipur airport and railway station (125 km each), Rawla Narlai also allows easy trips to Kumbhalgarh Fort, Ranakpur Temples and Nadol excavation sites in the vicinity. Your stay at Rawla Narlai is made memorable by the melodious chants from nearby temples and mosques every morning.
The luxurious heritage hotel perfectly combines traditions with modernity to offer the best in comfort and personalized service to its guests. Its 25 rooms are havens of comfort with an elegant d?cor reflecting the glorious heritage of the bygone era. The rooms are air-conditioned and well appointed with lavish attached bathroom, bathtub/shower, running hot/cold water, direct dial telephone, color TV with satellite facility and fridge.
The in-house multi-cuisine restaurant is a perfect venue to savor authentic local specialties from rural Rajasthan. You can also relish a delectable array of Indian and Continental fare at the 24-hour coffee shop. If you are just back from a visit to the holy hills, do feed the monkeys (they are absolutely harmless) as a small prayer token to Lord Hanuman.
Services & Facilities
Rawla Narlai provides a host of services for your convenience like travel desk, laundry, doctor on call, car rental and ample parking area. Amuse the adventurer in you by going on trekking and rock climbing trips organized by the hotel. Explore rustic Rajasthan with camel and horse safaris. A colossal 350 ft single granite rock, overlooking Rawla Narlai Heritage Hotel, flanked by several caves, temples and a gigantic statue of a white elephant, is also worth a visit. You can also shop around for exquisite Rajasthani crafts, paintings and spices at the vibrant local bazaar.
Amidst old age Indian village, the Haveli has so much good energy, environment and fragrance in the air. Only way to get there is by car, but it was totally worth the drive, as we drove through beautiful Forrest, seeing animals, villages and mountains. Charming, very victorian Haveli shows age of the place, though rooms had no cross ventilation and I guess they have put central AC, which caused noise at night. For someone who loves authentic Indian food, the restaurant served us best meal with perfectly seasoned kababs and Rajasthani specialities. Hotel offers a bunch of activities and Lalaji was great companion to be with for village walk, temple visit and visit to elephant rock. We did horse back riding with Vinodji, he was cooperative and talked about local culture and nature around the village. Leopard Sight safari is nothing but the nature walk, so make a wise selection if you plan to do any of these activities. We can’t wait to go back there, to see another sunrise at elephant rock and new temples. Thank you to entire staff
Steeped in history.

The hotel is fantastic and service is impeccable. The location is perfect - set against the aravalli hills in a small village. The hotel offers lots of activities but due to the heavy rains unfortunately we couldn't try any of them.
I visited this hotel and had a good stay. The location of the hotel was good. The appearance of the hotel was good internally and externally. The check in and checkout was done on time. The staff members in the hotel were helpful and friendly. The room allotted to us was maintained well with all amenities working properly. The food served in the hotel was good in quality and taste. There were no activities in the hotel.

A vintage property converted to a heritage hotel. An absolute delight right from the entrance. Extremely courteous staff and excellent food. Each room is unique. The whole property has been built beautifully. The folk music by the locals in the evening was a delight. Quiet, peaceful away from the bustle of the city, this place provides the perfect getaway ideally for a couple.

The best place with outstanding regal atmosphere all around. Wonderful staff. The hotel/resort is a treat in itself. Rooms nostalgic of havelis of the bygone era. USP of the hotel is a big rock overlooking the entire premises and a giant stone elephant on the top of the rock. One can climb to the top of the rock and get awesome view of the village and the countryside. You have to climb some around 30-40 minutes through steps to make it to the top. The hotel staff will assist you to the stone elephant. One must go there early morning. It will be tiring but the view and hot tea served with cookies will infuse fresh energy. There are tents overlooking the swimming pool as well. Only turn off is the food menu, which is very limited though delicious. Another minus point is the location. The hotel although easily accessible doesn't have any attraction nearby to visit other than Kumbhalgarh Or Ranakpur temples. Even Kumbhalgarh has got good properties to stay. Ranakpur is a bit far from Rawla Narlai. But it is worth staying in the hotel and enjoy leisure with best in class service. Best time to visit any place in Rajasthan is winter.
Room & service was too good
