A good stay for family and I stayed one night here. Staff were very co operative and helping. A special thanks to room boy as. Well. I will suggest this hotel to every couple and family. Good thing is they insist on liquor ban which helps to avoid unwanted issues for family

I had travelled with family, I had stayed here multiple times. I like this hotel for many reasons like Location right next to lake, park in front of Villa rooms, cordial staff, I would not say this is a luxurious hotel but it is definitely worth for 2. 5K.

Well located hotel with great hospitality. It is located close to rose garden, just in walking distance . Rooms are clean and well maintained . Breakfast and Dinner are buffet and lunch Ala Carte. Though there is less selection quality is good . . It will necessarily satisfy everybody.

The place is accessible by a very narrow road. Easily located by Google maps though. The grounds and the hotel are very well maintained and the staff are helpful, especially in planning activities along the day. The fun area has plenty of activities - Children enjoyed the lawn. The room was spacious and clean, but a bit sterile and lacking character compared to some of the other properties in Ooty. Stay was good except for some checking out issues (probably because the place was almost full)

The resort is quite close to a local residential village and the view isn't something to speak of either. It's quite a climb down from Ooty hills and hence the weather is a lot warmer. Service, food and parking facilities are alright, but there are certainly more exciting resorts in the region.

Booked Tulips Elkhill Resorts, Ooty (Booking ID : NH7P123178727166 & NH7P003778727384) One Single Bed Room Cottage & One two Bed room cottage. Payment mode was pay at hotel, however I got a call from the hotel manager 4/5 days prior to my check in asking to give advance otherwise they can't confirm the room availability. After discussing with their Owner Mr. Srikant Reddy that issue sorted out . . When we reach the hotel at 4 P. M. On 13th May 2018 they took around 1 Hr 15 Min to a lot the rooms. However our check in time was mentioned as 12 noon clearly. Initially they allotted one single room instead allotting cottage room. It was such a small room that the wardrobe door was not opening, Even if you walk around the room, it's not possible, Lights & Plug points were not working in that particular room. After making a call to MMT customer care they changed that particular room. They allotted the new room just beside of their kitchen, it was full of smell of gas. We stayed there for 2 nights, they have not cleaned the rooms for the whole stay, we called the reception at least 15/16 times to clean the room & to put some water bottles but they have not done anything. Even they were not taking the plates we used for food. It was the most terrible experience in my life. I really wonder how a company like MakemytTrip is offering such cheap hotels.

This is a budget hotel stationed beautifully on tiger hills. The view of the mountains is awesome. The rooms are spacious and clean. But the toilet was just okay. We stayed in room 120, were the western closet was too tall and very difficult to use. The geyser was functional and taps were good to use. It gets very chilling in the nights as the thermal insulation is poor at the doors and windows. Ensure that you get the room heaters. The service is very friendly and helpful. They don't have a restaurant but the in room dining is good. The food quality is good and stomach friendly. Morning breakfast is served in the open under a shamiana. Breakfast is just about okay but they give a lot of variety. The approach road to this hotel is little hectic and tiring with pot holes and broken roads. During rains, it gets harder to drive. The f&b manager is very approachable and friendly. There are no activities or games or play areas, so prepare yourself to face it if you are staying at the room. The TV connection has HD channels. The internet connection is very poor and it is free to use at the hotel.

Rooms are big . Staff is cooperative but not much amenities are present. We were travelling with babies . So they helped us by using their kitchen stove for boiling water and making baby food . Location is excellent.

Extra bed is charged which is not mentioned in Make My Trip website. Services are staff are good. They told they will arrange for local taxi but asked to arrange by ourselves. Food available in the hotel is good but costly compared to near by branded restaurants. Heritage Rooms bed is queen size and not king size as conveyed by hotel staff over phone. Bed is small for 2Adults and 2 children.

Not satisfied with the service provided. Room service is too bad. Keep calling from your Mobile phone. After multiple attempts they actually provide service. Breakfast was not available on time. No egg or omlett in breakfast. Very few items are available in breakfast. Bedsheets are not clean. Very poor service and expensive rate. I would never recommend any family in future.

I guess cheap rooms are allocated to those customers who book through on line travel portals. We did not have king sized beds, but single cots that need to be joined which created a gap in between. The location is good, pollution free and chill weather to enjoy.
