Rooms are sufficient for 2 people, very clean for the price of 900 rupees.
No facilities of parking but still 3 cars can fit in front of the lodge. Walk-able from palace, 30 rupees auto charge from zoo.
500Meters from bus stand. Lot of hotels nearby.
There could be better space near the bed.

Hot water was available only in the morning. I would suggest water full day, as after all the sightseeing, one would love to have hot water for Bath. The name of the lodge should also be prominent. And maps should be able to guide clearly. The rooms are clean. Staff extremely well behaved.
Waste of Money.

Waste of money, the facility team members has no caring to any customers.
The rooms are stingy & bathrooms are dirty, very poor. There is an Hot water issue. Etc.
It's difficult to search the lodge in area.

This is a good hotel in every respect, I would strongly advise anyone to stay at Mannar's if they are in Mysore. The food at restaurants are very good and very reasonable too and staff are really very polite.
I stayed here for one night with my relatives. The price was very cheap and this lodge is nearer to some sight seeing places like Mysore palace etc. Room is neat and clean. Bath room is also neat and cleaned. Maintenance is very good. The only this advantage is car parking is not avliable. But the management and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Clean rooms and polite staff

Hotel Mannar Residency in Mysore is situated at Narayana Sastry Road, practically opposite More Mega store and is about 1 km from Mysore Railway station.
I stayed here from 27th Feb to 29th Feb 2016. Nothing to boast about it. It is not kind of a big hotel as we imagine before booking any hotel. It is a small family hotel with very neat and clean rooms. They have double bedded and three bedded AC and non-AC rooms with attach baths (Indian or Western seat toilets, please ask front office before booking) and TV with cable connection. Mannar has got lift which is quite slow but in a good condition. Rooms are cleaned daily and newspaper is provided to every room.
The entire staff is very polite and decent, especially the Manager, Mr. Punith. Tariff is reasonable. For three bedded room, I paid Rs. 1700/- per night but one can get it a bit cheaper by booking online. I don't prefer booking online without actually seeing the property.
It is a pure vegetarian hotel with a restaurant attached to it. The food is south Indian and in North Indian thali all vegetables are south Indian with two Tandoori rotis. If you are north Indian and need a full meal then avoid taking food here. Dosa and idly are fine here. That's everywhere in Mysore.
Overall, a very decent family hotel for stay. I would recommend it.
