Faced issues at the time of check-in. Despite having booked the room and made the payment much in advance, we were told that the room is not available and they would accommodate us in some other property. It was only when we insisted that they accommodated us. Wi-Fi was not working. Upon load shedding, generator took lot of time to be switched on. Phone was not working in the phone. Mobile connectivity is anyways too bad in that area. However, given the fact that people travel to this place for the safari, so as per safari timings, hotel was accommodative in terms of providing food (tea/coffee/ buffet/ packed breakfast) at odd timings.

This was my third stay with chandan so there was no doubt in choosing while visiting Kanha National park. Good location and service are the main features of this motel. The rooms will also give you a feel of staying near a jungle which decorated accordingly.

Good natural beauty ... Dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the pool. A hotel designed to give you the feeling of distant land. Food was good. The staff needs to work on service .. Like room telecom was out of order ... Star sports was missing ... We missed the India Vs south Africa .. Thou India won.

It is our bad luck that we had booked a cottage in Kanha resort. I want to give negative points but it is not possible to give less than 1 point as poor. Please make sure that the providing the same cottage or room which you had booked during check in itself. My self and my colleague had booked two AC cottages at Kanha resort for one night. I had booked through Makemytrip. Unfortunately we reached at the resort around 11:15 hours at night. During our journey to Kanha resort we had tried to call them on their number but was not connected. Later on after reaching the resort we came to know that the phone was dead. We had allotted non AC standard rooms no 103 & 104. On next day we had a jungle safari and our family members including children are already slept in car during the journey. Hence on next day when we had asked them about why not allotted the AC cottages they are ready to give reimbursement of Rs 200 for each room & breakfast which we had not accepted and asked for the full reimbursement. Mr Vasant Soni, Introduce himself as manager who has refused to give the suggestion/remark register at resort in which we want to put the remark about not providing the AC cottages.

I had good time with my family there. Services were best, food was tasty. Location could have been more nearer to khatia gate. Facilities were good too, just little more efforts could have been there for cleanliness. Overall good experience.

Location is good, hotel manager is very co operative, food quality is good. You can go to khatiya gate which is walkable distance from hotel. Approximately 400 meter. Hot water provision with solar heater and tv in room.
