Hotels in Church Gate, Mumbai
This hotel has the location going for it. Services are minimal. Good for business travel, Not suitable for a family vacation. Close proximity to the marine drive and Church Gate station is a double benefit. Be aware that the bell hops are over enthusiastic to earn and quite intrusive, while the front desk staff seem from a different era, barring the one lady Varsha,

It was a breathtaking view from the balcony. All the popular eateries and locations like colaba, fort, gateway of India was very close by. Staff was prompt and room was spacious and clean. At your leisure you can come down and sit by the seaside which is really a treat to your senses. Will definitely come here again and again.

Excellent hotel, lovely people. Allowed me to check out an hour later with not even a raised eyebrow. Quite helpful. Their location is also to die for. They are within walking range of Churchgate station and you can go for a peaceful walk along Marine Drive in the a. M. Not too many food options, but are still great value for money.

Stayed in a sea facing room. The view was excellent. The decor of the room was very good. In all it was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious but overpriced. Breakfast menu had a lots of variety. The only drawback was poor room service.

There was bug in room. Bed wasn't clean. AC water was leaking. Location is good on seaside. A few km to Gate of India. Nice decoration and big size room. Staff was helpful. Restaurant's foods are delicious but expensive.

On day of arrival at 3.00 pm my room was not ready though the check in time was stated to be 1.00 pm. I was offered a coffee and asked to wait. As I had not had lunch as I had just driven from Valsad I also ordered a sandwich. It turned out to be an open tasteless sandwich (the hotel tries to be different and modern but as far as taste goes it fails badly). Instead of coffee, I ordered a juice which was priced same but I was charged for the juice. The waiter amended the bill when I protested, but I was still charged for the sandwich which should have been complementary as I had to wait till 3.45 pm for my room. The dinner on the 1st Floor Indian restaurant was a big let down. Again the hotel tries to be different and stylish at the costs of taste. More than half of the small portion severed was left un-eaten. It was a waste of money so next day we ate out. Otherwise the staff and hotel is of very good standard.

Amazing view wirh best service. The prices are too high for food and beverages. The room was **** good but only at night for 20 mins lights went off due to short Circuit and speakers are very low quality. Doesn't have audible sound and so is the tv

Because of the location, room was noisy. The amenities are not upgraded- no electric kettle, tea, toiletries. Lifts are old and rickety. People are courteous, service and breakfast was good. The room was spacious and they upgraded me, which was nice. They should also upgrade the intercom system and the linen

Hotel Suba Palace is so centrally located and the rooms are neat. They do a really nice breakfast spread, too. Our relatives have stayed here so often and every time they have had an extremely pleasant stay. It's a stone's throw from Gateway of India and Colaba, a shopper's paradise!
