It's an authentic heritage property but pretty small is size. Rooms are pretty average with CRT televisions still being used. They charge 10% for room service which I never heard of in a decent hotel. Complimentary breakfast was okay. So overall an ordinary stay.
Very normal stay with HIGHER C....

This is normal residence converted as heritage home. Can be treated as a lodge with residence looks of Rajasthan. The maximum room tariff can't be Rs1500 to 1750 net. Suggest not book with thinking of staying in PALACE OR MAHAL IT'S JUS A RESIDENCE. The actually given room was worst and ordinary room. On demand after discussing they changed to little better room.

First the hotel agreed to pick us up and then said they will send an auto for us. When leaving I had requested they organize transport which they said they would but did it at the last minute with an auto who charged us double. The hotel is far away from other shops and restaurants. The food available in the hotel is very limited and over priced. There are no tea kettles in the room and we had to ask for a room heater to keep us warm. The staff are not very friendly and it appears are keen to attend to their foreign guests rather than Indians who tip more than necessary. The foreign tourists are led to believe its a heritage property it may belong to a maharaja but the experience is anything but royal.
Behaviour of the staff members was good. I booked deluxe room there. They served complimentary toiletries. AC, TV, geyser and other necessity items were available there and they all were functioning properly. Rooms were taken care of on a daily basis by the room staff. I preferred veg food inside the hotel and quality wise, the food was nice. Cost wise, the food was reasonable. I did not use any activity there. I had gone there by own car with my family in the month of March 2014. Sightseeing trip was arranged by our own. Money wise, the hotel was value for money. I will recommend this hotel to other travellers.

The hotel was conveniently located I did not face any problem in reaching. The service was excellent and the staff members were awesome. It was a heritage hotel the look was a combination of tradition and modern building which was very good looking. The room allotted to me was very comfortable and spacious. The room was too clean and well maintained. All the amenities were available and it was working well. Food facility was available in the hotel which was tasty, both the quality and quantity of the food was good. There were both buffet and service facilities. I did not find any delay in check-in and check-out process. The hotel helped me to get cab for sightseeing and also the guided for the visit. The stay was money worthy and I was so satisfied.

Hotel Mahal Khandela is a heritage property with rooms of high standard overall with a lot of light. The service and food quality are at their best. Customers are not treated as guest but as maharaja and maharani instead. Facilities like WiFi, swimming pool and indoor activities make it worth and highly recommended.
Neat rooms with cordial staff

The hotel was nice place to stay. The rooms were very neat and clean. The staff used to be very cordial. The only problem is the location of the hotel which is little inside from the main thoroughfare. If the kitchen is closed, we can't get anything from outside as there is no food joints available in the vicinity. Except this overall it was very good.
Friendly staff; spacious rooms

It was great time to visit Jaipur to view fort and stay in Mahal Khandela. Swimming pool was same as shown in photographs, room was big in size, hotel staff was friendly and quick service. Breakfast was hot and fresh. What I feel was parking problem but the gate keeper managed it and our car was parked safely.
