Hermitage In The Himalayas (5min walk to Badrinath Ji Temple) - Badrinath

Positives: 1. Rooms - they were clean, had sufficient blankets, and the hot water geyser was functioning well. Though a bit small, it was acceptable. 2. Location - it was within walking distance from the temple, we had a view of a waterfall from our rooms/balcony, and there were many restaurants nearby. 3. Staff - the manager and staff were very kind and helpful. My elderly mother had breathing issues in badrinath, but they helped us take her to a doctor, and everything was resolved. Negatives: the car parking and entrances - the space for parking is almost non-existent. This issue existed at both entrances of the Hermitage In The Himalayas (5min walk to Badrinath Ji Temple) - Badrinath. They need to improve the parking and entrance areas. I initially wanted to give a 4. 5 rating due to the parking and entrance issues mentioned above. However, since that option was not available, and given the excellent support from the staff, i decided to rate it 5.

The view from the property was truly breathtaking, and every moment spent there felt like a peaceful escape. What made the experience even better was the warmth and hospitality of the host, his sister, and the entire staff. A special mention to the host—he went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. He personally arranged transportation for me and offered helpful suggestions on places to explore, making my trip seamless and memorable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy stay with exceptional views and genuinely kind people hosting you!

Excellent location and great experience. They made us feel like home. Bhaskar sir was extremely cooperative and provided us with all required necessities. He arranged doctor for us as the weather became extreme all of a sudden in the summers. Also he arranged food with options even if they dont have in house kitchen. They arranged room heaters which is rare in the Hermitage In The Himalayas (5min walk to Badrinath Ji Temple) - Badrinaths nearby. Great experience overall. Worth a revisit

Amazing location. Walking distance to the temple. The best part is the clear mesmerizing views of Neelkanth parvat from the comfort of the Hermitage In The Himalayas (5min walk to Badrinath Ji Temple) - Badrinath itself. Bhaskar is a great host and always ready to help with anything . Food is great and rooms are equipped with heaters which helps in cold weather. Overall a great experience.

It was a great great experience to stay at this Hermitage In The Himalayas (5min walk to Badrinath Ji Temple) - Badrinath. Room heater, 24 hours water heater provided at such a remote place. Neelkanth peak is visible from the room. Very good place to stay. Overall great host mr. Bhaskar.

The stay was comfortable although the rooms where comparatively small. The sightseeing was superb and the behaviour of owner and staff made the stay very homely

Hermitage staff and Mr Bhaskar made the stay great with their hospitality. Also it is very near to the temple. recommended to stay here when anyone visits Badrinath

the property is located close to Badarinath temple. The rooms are clean bit old but we'll maintened. The staff and the manger (owner himself) will personally take care of each guest and guide you the tour, temple visit etc. overall good experience

Hermitage in the himalayas is a wonderful staying option in badrinath dham, with a marvelous view of mountains as well as badrinath city.
