The property needs attention

We had stayed in the hotel for a night but was not quite happy with the service.it was the first day of Ramadan and so the hotel was empty.the room assigned to us was an interconnected as our request but many things needed to be fixed..like the door handle of washroom the shower..we didn't bother to complain as we had only an overnight stay..the checkout was very bad experience as the reception didn't inform us about the hidden additional taxes and was clearly mentioned in our voucher that was included.. still we paid as we didn't want to argue.

Family Visit

The property is now very old and loosing all color and glaze, but food was satisfactory and stay was also comfortable, Mr. Fatty Saeed, Pravin and Manish were very supportive. for the deal price it was ok and otherwise very good, good for family.

Worse booking experience

This hotel clearly don’t like to receive guests at all , for the past 3 days I’m triying to make a booking First time after they finally pick up the phone , the rude guy that answered the phone after he took all the details he said I’ll call u back in 1 hour to make the booking (why??) this never happen before in any other hotel and of course he didn’t call back , but the funny part it’s that if you try to call they will never answer the phone, so after 2 days call back same story , If this "hotel" don’t really care to have some guests and make profit as well and train the staff at least with 1 % customer service common sense they should better put a shopping mall ,restaurant , library whatever but not a hotel

Great Hotel for a reasonable p....

We got a deal from an e-commerce marketplace for an overnight stay at the hotel with 2 complimentary tickets to Iceland Waterpark. I called the hotel to check for availability of rooms a week before our trip, Ms. Honey is the one I spoke to with regards my inquiry and she is nice and courteous (thanks Ms. Honey). We booked four rooms and received the booking confirmation one day after my reservation email. They are also polite on answering all my queries with regards to our trip. We had an hour and a half drive to reach the hotel, it quite far from the main city. No problem with the grocery there is ample groceries that you could pass by before reaching the hotel and as per them they also deliver in the hotel. We got there at 9:00 am but we waited for almost an hour to get our Iceland tickets since we got there in a busy timing (most of the guest were checking out that time). They have to get us a room first to be able to issue the ticket. And then we left to do our Iceland trip. After our activity in the waterpark, we got back at the hotel around 4:00 pm to check-in. Ms. Mary is the one who assisted us that time, she is nice as well, conflicting from the previous reviews I read. We also got an upgrade from standard to a delux room. The rooms we got are perfect for a family stay, and the room smells nice. We had a small veranda with the rocky mountain views. The bathroom is clean with the standard amenities. Like, over-all it is very decent and a good value for money. For breakfast, the food is just normal not that much (but I didn't expect that much actually since it is Ramadan). Then after having our breakfast we decided to go to the outdoor pool but it is too hot outside we checked on the indoor pool, but it was closed. We have to go back to the reception area to request to open the indoor pool and again it took us like 30 minutes to wait (we also have to do a follow-up). Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It is perfect for a quick get-away trip from our work, and to just relax (since the place is very calm and quiet).

Quite out of the way hotel

I'll be honest. The hotel is in the middle of no where, my first thought was why build a hotel here? But thats getting ahead of myself. We booked the hotel through the web site, they email you a credit card confirmation slip to fill in and send back. We've stayed here twice, and both times we've had issues with this such as cancelling the booking, both times. This caused us some stress as we were visiting the area to compete in a trail running race, and if they cancelled our booing we would have had no where else to stay in the area. From reading the comments this isn't an isolated case of trouble with booking rooms. On arrival, it does take a little while to check in, but our room was clean and functional with towels. The dinner buffet, was ok. There are not too many options in the surrounding area to go anywhere else unless you drive to RAK town. I didn't think it was worth the money they were asking, the manager comes across as rude and uncompromising. I wasn't sure if it was a cultural thing or he was having a bad day? The facilities they allowed for the races though was good, tea and coffee in the mornings etc so thanks for that it was greatly appreciated. We only had breakfast there once, its a standard breakfast buffet. And to be honest i was starving and would have eaten anything! The pool is ok, it has everything you need. We were given towels, and you can order food and drink to the pool..which we did post race. I cant quite put my finger on this place, its just a quirky hotel. The first time i went into the bar there was a belly dancer and 1 local man dancing together...weird! We'll stay here again for the next races held in the area as its convenient, but i wouldn't make a trip especially to stay here.
