The location is good and the service staff are cooperative but the room had a continuous cigarette smell which was something very annoying. In response service staff sprayed the perfume but its effect was overpowered by cigarette smell in 15 minutes.

⭐ 1 Star – Worst Hotel, My experience at Omega Hotel Bur Dubai was absolutely horrible. At checkout, I left the room key inside the room and went to the reception. In those few minutes, their staff quietly took the key out and then claimed they “never received it.” They me to pay lost key charges for a key THEY themselves took. This is not a mistake — this is clear and a cheap way to extract money from guests. The staff is rude, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. I strongly warn everyone — avoid this hotel

Excellent Stay
Excellent stay and friendly staff. Hotel is located near to Sharaf DG metro station. Indian restaurants are nearby and Carrefour too. Good location and good hospitality.

It was literally perfect. We were there for 6 days and everything was above our expectations. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Dubai and looking for a reasonable and comfortable stay.

Terrible Stay
I booked a room for 2 adults through here and everything was clearly stated: visitor fee is AED 105 (confirmed on both the booking site and the hotel’s own official website). Yesterday my friend came to my room for literally 10–15 minutes just to collect some gifts I had for him. He didn’t stay, didn’t use any facility, didn’t even sit down properly – he walked in, took the bag and left. That’s it. The hotel decided to charge me AED 150 for those 15 minutes and called it an “extra person” fee. 150 AED for 15 minutes! Are you running a hotel or a toll booth? Even if a visitor policy exists (which is already ridiculous for such a short time), your own published rate is 105 AED – not 150 AED. Where did the extra 45 AED magically appear from? Worst part: the receptionist. Absolutely zero professionalism, zero manners, zero customer service skills. When I questioned the unfair charge, his exact words were “You can complain to whoever you want, do whatever you want.” Said with the rudest tone and a smirk. Congratulations, you just employed someone who openly tells paying guests to get lost. This is not how you treat customers. A 10–15 minute visit to hand over gifts is normal human interaction, not that deserves a 150 AED penalty and attitude from your staff. If your policy is so strict, at least train your employees to deliver the bad news with basic respect instead of arrogance. I travel frequently and stay in hotels across the UAE and this is by far the most petty, money-grabbing, and rude experience I’ve ever had. Will never return and will make sure none of my friends or family ever book here. Completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. Zero stars if possible. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being overcharged and insulted.

My recent stay at Omega Hotel was quite disappointing. First, the bathroom setup was extremely inconvenient. We were not informed beforehand that the room only had a bathtub, with no proper shower area at all. We had to stand inside the bathtub just to take a shower, which was uncomfortable and not what we expected. Second, the room size was far smaller than what was shown in the images online. The actual space felt cramped and did not match the impression given during booking. On top of that, even the basic complimentary items were not provided proactively—we had to specifically request water bottles, which should have been placed in the room by default. Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations, and several key aspects of comfort and clarity were lacking.

The staff didn't let us in until 9 am after requesting an early checkin request we had to wait there for 3 hours at the lobby though they had the room empty only because they took for 3 hours early checkin and as tourist tax the staff was so rude even after saying that we have come for honeymoon please get us a room the staff was extremely bad and the room was not that great you have to keep asking for complementary water bottles.

However, as a courtesy room was provided to you at 12:00 noon without any charges. Everyday we do place 2 complimentary water bottles during the daily cleaning service and if needed before cleaning we do provide immediately the same when requested on call. Regarding the tourism fees for every guest its mandatory to pay before check-in. As well, we accommodated you the best room in standard category.
