Good for the price

The hotel is an older one but it's good for the price. There is no metro nearby so you will take a taxi or bus. One bedroom is spacious. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, but slightly dated. It was quiet and 2 mins walk to West zone super market.

Best bargain in Peak Tourist S....

People go to Dubai to visit the Theme Parks, Huge Gardens, Malls and Shopping...The only time they use the Hotel services is late evening .... To get a good and comfortable night sleep. Al Shams is Centrally located . Can approach all modes of Transport by a small walk... The appartments needs to be re painted. The staff is extremely courteous and Well trained. We stayed at Al Shams for 7 nights and there are no disappointments at all. Can work a little more on cleanliness... I still give it 4 Stars... Next time i want to come back to Al Shams also because the appartments are really spacious... Thanks and Good Luck

Dirty horrible hotel

A terribly dirty hotel, cockroach in kitchen, which I immediately informed staff on desk, they did not do anything, it was so very dirty had to complain on check in to have room cleaned., on checking in lounge suite had all blue scribble marks on it, although this was replaced next day with a cheap plastic vinyl version.....I would not recommend anyone stay here...the staff were nice and the pool but that about it...a waste of money

Stay at Al Shams

A cheap place to crash. Rooms are spacious. however, ambiance and the lights dont work much in the favor of the hotel. the rooms are cleaned daily and properly. would recommend taking the front facing rooms for better light and comfort.

Worst experience, wait managem....

I had booked 1 BHK apartment for my family arriving almost a month back. 1. When I asked for some water, they said it's not complimentary which is bad 2. The heating kettle was broken and it took them like 2 days to replace it. The replaced kettle was rusted from the sides and was disgusting to boil water to make some tea 3. One of the days, the bathing towels was not available. We were three of us and stuff comes back to say we have only one.! Question is how do they expect us to manage with 1 towel. The lady at the reception was helpless as she was back answered by the staff when she pressed to ask about the status. Most horrible feeling was when I personally called the manager to notify him he, in a sleepy tone, said "dekta hoon kya kar sakta hoon". Highly irresponsible statement. 4. The plates were old and vegetable chopping plate was yellowish. Creating a disgusting feeling to go about cooking in the room 6. Room service is available only at their wish and time. Customer is of least importance. 7. Parking although provided is so cramped up that I said I'd rather park outside than get my car scratched! Iam personally never going to recommend any body to this pathetic place.
