Nice Family Hotel
The Saas-Fee village is well known for Skiing. The Hotel is in Saas-Fee and is a bit remote in that sense but great for Skiiers.Since we went in summer, we enjoyed the lovely weather. The reception is friendly ,informative and courteous. The room was small for a family of 4 we thought.Children of course had bunk beds .It would have been better if there was a ladder to go up the top bed.We had to put the children up manually beside a precariously perched TV set. Rooms are clean though. The breakfast buffet is just sufficient . Staff is courteous and kind. There is kids play room and you can leave the kids for few hours if you want to trek. The mascot is called Sulino. There is also an outdoor park.
The Hotel has their own electric shuttle to pick and drop you to bus terminus. Our kids were given backpacks as gifts before we left.
Strange thing is, lift stops working after 10PM. This hotel has sauna and massage too but you should inform in advance as the folks are too busy

Family ski holiday
We stayed for a week with our two kids and had grandparents and aunt visiting as well.
We were very impressed by all the friendly and hardworking staff who consistently have been extremely helpful, patient and flexible with us - they really made the difference!
The kids (2 and 4 yrs old) enjoyed the well fitted daycare centre and of course sleighing next to hotel. The hotel is at a quite place of town with all amenities nearby. The daily shuttle service and ski depot provided next to the lifts are a clear plus.

Great service and nothing too ....
Well, what can I say...all the staff at the Alphubel were fantastic from start to finish. Frieda checked us in very swiftly with a warm welcome and took us personally to our room which had been upgraded to a family room with a separate area with bunk beds for the children. South facing with an amazing view.
Breakfast and dinners were fantastic and all staff were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, on our second day of skiing, my youngest broke his leg so had to spend 4 days in our room with him as he could not get about at all. Franziska and the staff rallied round and helped where they could bringing up food at mealtimes and really were amazing. I could not have asked for better service and nothing was too much trouble.
Yes, it is only a 3 star but the rooms/beds are comfortable, food fantastic and service is of a 5 star standard and I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and if I go back to Saas-Fe, I would stay here again without a doubt.
Thank you all for your help and I wish you all well.

Family super friendly, welcomi....
I visited Alphubel in February 2016. My strongest impressions are of friendliness , childrens welcome, attention to detail. I especially noticed al the care that went into making children happy from dancing to alp horn games to dressing up gear and daily kids cinema. The food was excellnt and all staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend highly to anyone but especially those travelling with children.

Ski holidays - a perfect stay ....
My daughter and I stayed here for a week. What a fantastic time we had. It was really a home away from home. Frieda Walther is a fantastic hostess, all the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Very good breakfast buffet. I am a vegetarian and Frau Supersaxo made me comfortable before I booked to say they will cook me a veg meal. And they did. The Kidsclub and kids area is very good, well stocked with puzzles and games. An entertainment program every evening for your little ones, maybe up to 8-year-olds...
The dining area is very cosy and it was really nice to see so many kids and what a better way for them to make friends...
They have a very spacious lounge with games and books to take up to your rooms. It is very near the bus and ski resort.
They even offer a shuttle everyday to the ski slopes and a locker in a partner hotel to stow away your skiis for the duration of your stay. I am already looking forward to going there again. Very highly recommended.
