The Ocean Colombo Hotel

The ocean view from the room was amazing. It gave an instant smile on face. Food was amazing we just had the breakfast but it had multiple options to choose from the menu. Services was also promt.

Food was average, room service was dead slow, bar was open, rooms were big and clean, view to the ocean is really good, hotel is on the main road and very easily accessible

Experience at the hotel was below the basic standards. Though there are basic amenities, the athletics were dated. A/C runs mostly on blower and temperature control not working. As there is no ceiling fan we had to complain the management for 4-5 times during different times of the stay. Technician attended however, no positive action taken. Anyone looking for decent budget would suggest them to please avoid this property.

We had booked 3 rooms for 6 people. For 1 nights' stay this was very much comfortable. 2 rooms were nice but 1 room's bathroom was quite smelly. But Hansana from house keeping fixed the issue immediately. The front desk staff was very cordial and we had a smooth check-in and check-out. Good location with good views. Cannot comment on the food as we did not opt for the same.

Mentioned 528 sq ft room but room was very small. They amenities they have written does not have none. poor service and cleaning.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ocean Colombo. The highlight was the breathtaking ocean view through the floor-to-ceiling glass wall, beautifully framed with large screens. Watching the waves roll in while trains passed along the railway track was truly mesmerizing. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel at home, while the food was equally delightful. A perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and stunning views – an experience we’ll cherish!

Ac is not working we had 2 night stay hotel but 2 night ac is not working no person was thair to attend, food quality is good

The family room was spacious with 2 queens bed.. View from the room was excellent. SpA is expensive , Breakfast was same on both days... Bread quality was pathetic... cooked food was average.

Direct ocean view on marine drive with affordable price. The room and bathroom was clean. Hotel staff was very friendly. All eating places are a walking distance away from main market. Good experience👍🏾

The hotel was located in one of the most beautiful locations with views of the ocean, railway line and road side by side near to Galle Face. We were quite satisfied with the room and food provided during our stay.

I have booked suite roomand the property doesn't match the reviews. Breakfast has almost no options for vegetarians, and the lady server in the restaurant is so rude. Service is slow. The only positive point is view from the room.
