Good hotel, spacious room
We stayed here out of season, in February. Gandia Playa was almost deserted and most other hotels were closed. This hotel was pretty quiet too, catering mostly for groups of Spanish on weekend breaks from Madrid.
The room was high up and had great views. Really spacious, especially the bathroom. Plenty of wardrobe space and comfortable beds.
We stayed 5 nights on a room only basis and paid for breakfast separately - just 5 euros for an extensive Spanish style buffet. We thought this was good value.
The hotel is very close to the stunning beach and even at the start of February we had one day sitting in the sun. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around, and even out of season a few of them were open after 8 o clock at night.
This is a good hotel with friendly staff. Very close to the bus stop which takes you in to Gandia town.

Food has improved
For the price we paid it was very good value for money. The bedroom was very nice with balcony with view to the sea, but for the view you do need to be high, I would think 5th floor up.
This is very much a Spanish hotel used mainly for Spanish business people or tourists. The breakfast is very Spanish and the menus are all in Spanish. The food is better than when we stayed last year. They now do buffets for dinner when they are busy and this was better than before.
The wine is cheap at 5.25Euros a bottle but it is either Red, White or Rose. I do wish they wouldn't put the Red in the fridge though, you would think they would know better.

Holyday in October 2015
A very nice and clean hotel, with plenty of bar's and restaurants near by. The beach is 5 minutes from the hotel. The food, the best I had in a all inclusive pack. I recommend this hotel to anyone. ??

Visited February 2017. The hotel itself is good, centrally situated not far from the beach. We found plenty of street parking outside though not sure if this would be the same in the summer,
We had a room on the 8th floor at the front with a good view over the roofs of other buildings to the sea,
The room was fine spacious, good shower above the bath, bed was comfortable unfortuately the pillow was dreadful, so thin as to be virtually non existant.
The breakfast was OK, very Spanish but what else would you expext. Shame about the coffee from the machine was not good.
The worst thing about the Hotel was the dinners, we stayed on half board, mainly because in winter we wern't sure if there was going to be many restaurants open, (as it happens there were plenty). Dinner was choice of 3 starters, soup was Ok, salad, very basic, and one other which was generaly from freezer into fryer.
3 mains, 1 fish 2 meats, 2 nights served with cold chips and cold frozen veg, 3rd night warm jacket potato cold veg again. Even the main was from freezer and fried or grilled. Dessert was yogurt, fruit or soggy cake or milk pudding.
Shame about food, the rooms and position probably deserve 4 rating, very much let down by food which would bearly scrape a 2 rating.
Tip, if looking for supermarket, out front door turn left and immediatly left down side street nice supermarket 2 minutes walk on right. Very good veg shop on left on the way.

An economical stay in Gandia.
Although we stayed at the end of January and the hotel was fairly quiet, we thought they provided an excellent service with the meals although they cater more for Spanish tastes. Also the Wi-Fi worked really well in our 8th floor room. There was ample free parking around the hotel.
