Average hotel, above average f....

Very typical hotel of this type, it's what you expect for the price. Everything was clean and tidy but looked a bit tired. Decent sized room with a balcony, twin beds pushed together aren't great and the bath funneled water onto the floor no matter where you pointed the shower head! Staff were all ready helpful, speaking great English. The entertainment team seemed great for the kids but we chose to avoid the nights in the cramped sweaty basement bar and walked into town. As long as you didn't want to sit right next to the pool, we always managed to get a sun lounger, and there was rarely a long queue at the bar or in the restaurant. We weren't full board so found the corner shop, just on the other side of the building, or it was a 15 min walk to Lidl or Aldi to pick up drinks and ice. All in a fairly relaxing atmosphere, in a pretty good location - quiet enough but a reasonably short walk to town or the beach. The best part was the food, plenty of choice rotating around a theme each night - American/Mexican/Italian etc and most of it was cooked very well, although they love to boil veg to death.

fantastic hotel ,food,people a....

my husband, myself, adult daughter, son and 2 small girls absolutely loved it 5* the food was outstanding and plenty of it! all staff we great but Miguel,Cian,Jose,Maro and Paco were ace free bus service to town and the beach packed lunch provided for going out, only 20 mins from the airport rooms were clean. we had trouble with 1 mattress and it was changed within the hour (to the 8th floor i may add) transfers were easy...baggage drop as we were leaving later and were even able to have a shower room before we left i would love to go again

Smell of hash!! Raw chicken!!!

We arrived about 11pm, checked in and went to room to discover the balcony doors didn't lock! Back to reception and was given another room 106 ... when we arrived on the floor the smell of Hash people were smoking was over powering!! How is this allowed in a family hotel?! Went back to reception and told the man and he just shrugged and gave us another room we were so exhausted by this time having to carry a 4 year old plus suitcases about. The entertainers are fab! The only positive. Eva (I think) was brilliant a really lovely girl. Dinner is not until 7.30pm which is far too late with kids! The last bus into town is 7.25pm and no bus back so unless you want to pay 7 euro each way for a taxi your stuck in the hotel. No buses into town in the afternoon either. The outdoor entertainment area should have designated smoking areas when the mini club is on. We couldn't sit for long because of smoke. Stairs down to pool area so not suitable with buggys and lift very narrow. Smell of people smoking hash was also around on the grassy area by the kids pirate ship from a group of middle age men and women. Had to go away to the other pool. Shocking! Music goes on to 11/midnight so no chance of a relaxing night with a 4 year old when your room faces on entertainment area. Food? Was good until tonight, our last night. Asian themed... The chicken in the skewer pieces was raw!! I feel for whoever ate a piece before checking it first. I'm sure there will be a few ill guests tomorrow! See photo attached ... I will not return to this hotel

Stayed in this hotel with my family. Its a lovely clean hotel. Staff are amazing. Pool doesnt open untill 10.30 a bit late i think. Animation team are fantastic so are the bar guys. Food was good too . We traveled as a family of 5 and we all got sick. When i asked reception if anybody else was ill she said yes lots its due to season change. I dont think so as 2 of us was up monday night all night being sick and 2 of us thursday night all night being sick. Nothing to do with alcahol as we didnt have a drop that day. In all the years ive been going abroad i have never had this.

Not good

On arrival we were given a room with a broken toilet, we told the reception staff and they said they would fix it and to come back to the room in an hour, we went back to the room and were greeted with an overwhelming smell of spray glue. The toilet was still not fixed to the ground so we asked to move rooms. They then downgraded us from a family room to a 1 bedroom with a sofa bed. Not what we'd paid for. Third time lucky we were given a room on the fifth floor, with balcony doors that don't lock and the bedroom door didn't have a handle on, but after carrying two cases, our hand luggage, the buggy and two kids to three different places we made do. On day 5 I was in bed with sickness and diarrhea all day and night, then on day 8 my partner was ill too and we wasted yet another day because of sickness. The smell from the sewers in the bathroom was horrendous, as the same around the pool. Also the all inclusive drinks are so obviously watered down that the mixer you mix it with tastes watery. All in all not great for a 4star hotel.
