A weekend break in Seville
This is such a beautiful hotel, located in a narrow side street in the heart of the old town. The hotel itself was very pretty with three charming inner courtyards, something that was really important for me when looking for a hotel in Seville. The staff were friendly and helpful the room was clean, traditional and so very pretty! We had lovely views over one of the interior courtyards, where you could hear the sound of a gently flowing water feature. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to showcase the true beauty of Seville i.e. decorative tiles, brightly painted walls and stunning courtyards. Each morning we walked to a local taverna for coffees and breakfast and found the most amazing tapas bar only a 3 minute walk from the hotel!

Not for mobility problems
We arrived a few days ago and were wowed at how stunning the hotel is.
However we’re we’re shown to our room (22) and I was utterly horrified as upon opening the door we were faced with a very narrow but exceptionally steep spiral staircase that led to bedroom and bathroom and then up from that yet another nasty spiral up to a terrace.
The rooms were amazing but I have slight mobility issues which in hind site maybe I should have mentioned .
We went straight to hotel reception and they very quickly arranged another room for us (15) which was much better.
Anybody staying or planning to stay need to take in to account the amount of steps and not many bannisters around the hotel.
I can’t fault the staff their all wonderful.
They arranged a taxi to pick us up straight from the hotel which was great.
As for the little plunge pool I wouldn’t recommend as paint peeling on bottom and full of leaves and not very enticing.
As for breakfast I can’t comment as went out each morning.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and despite the somewhat unusual colours in rooms and bathrooms please don’t let put off.
Seville is a very beautiful place but incredibly confusing especially in the Santa Cruz area but with maps and gps you find your way.
One word of warning if take in the Giralda Bell Tower as part of Cathedral trip which has to be seen, the tower has 35 levels via ramps and steps to final section and trust me it’s not for faint hearted but views spectacular If you do manage !!
All in all absolutely wonderful place ,

We stayed for two nights in April 2018. The room we had was large and clean. The bathroom was luxurious. We used the Jacuzzi tub after a long day on our feet of sightseeing.
The rooftop terrace was nice. Got some nice sunset shots of the rooftops in Sevilla.
The continental breakfast was good. Some fresh fruit would be a nice addition.
The walls are very thin. We could hear a couple's conversation like we were in the same room and someone was moving furniture above us in the evening which was quite annoying. It was Feria week, so each night we heard the returning revelers coming back - 4:00 am, 5:00 am and 6:00 am.
Bring your earplugs. They will help.
I would stay here again.

Staff very helpful and friendly I had a problem with my return flight and the staff sorted it out for me !
The room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean.
The breakfast was served fresh with lot's of choices and freshly squeezed orange Juice.
Would definitely visit this hotel again.

A beautiful historic house but....
I was seduced by flower-filled courtyards. Not the hotel's fault that it poured for four days. BUT...our room was given away to someone else, the key did not work for two days, there was no hot water in the shower so we had to use the hand-held part,& even then it did not reach tepid, the reception desk repeatedly gave wrong information (opening hours, train times) and the electrics could not be relied on. We became best friends with the maintenance man. Most of the staff were charming but where was the manager?
