10 MINUS FROM KREMLIN?! GREAT ....
We stayed in this hostel with my friends from the US and Czech Republic. Yes, there is no sign on the door and maybe the check in will take more than half an hour. But those issues are not important since everything else is just good! It is very clean and it seems that the owners are really taking good care of this place. On the same street there are a lot of places to eat, buy food or simply walk to the Kremlin. This place definitely makes you feel like at home, and all of us very enjoyed our stay there! Highly recommended!

OK but definitely there are mu....
I chose this hostel mainly for its location and secondly for a hope for a friendly service. The location was really great, steps away from Tretyakovskaya metro station. One could easily see the St. Basil's Cathedral as soon as exiting the building. The beds are comfortable and wi-fi connection is strong.
On the other hand there is an important communication problem. Because of this, it took around 1 hour for me to be able to check in. Most of the time I felt like I was disturbing the staff and permanent residents of the hostel. Therefore I started to feel that I was unwanted and I was glad to leave the hotel in the end.
Personally, I would not stay at this hostel if I knew that there was no friendly staff and a lively hostel atmosphere. You are not me, so decision is yours.
