Pricey for what offers. Spacious room, clean. Beds not very comfortable. Bathroom with tube. Free parking on the quiet street in front of the house. Not far from historical centre of the town, aprox 2.5 km.

„Hier heisst herzlich Willkomm....

Do not stay here ... Nu sta a....
Pros: The room had a comfy chair, and a desk. There were decent buses to the center of town a short walk from the hotel.
Cons: I have NEVER felt so unwelcome in a hotel. I think this place must have changed hands since the good reviews were written. They no longer provide breakfast, or much of any other service. I started out my stay with sitting on the steps for over a half hour before anyone noticed I was there, despite my knocking loudly on the door marked private. I was never actually checked in, just given a key by someone who spoke no English. The bed was full of springs, and very uncomfortable. The first day, I put out the door sign for room cleaning, and the housekeeper made the bed. No clean towels, no trash emptied, certainly no cleaning. I didn't put out the sign again, but neither did I put out the do not disturb sign. My room was never "cleaned" again. The internet worked very poorly, and the TV not at all. The day before I left, I was accosted as I left my room and asked if I was going to pay before I left, despite the fact that I had given them no reason to think I wouldn't. When I did pay, in cash (after knocking on the door to get their attention), they had a lot of trouble understanding that I wanted a receipt, and providing one. In five days, I never saw anyone at the reception desk. The hotel is far from the city center.

i don't recommend it
We planned to spend a special vacation there,so we chose a room with an exit directly to swimming pool (one of the most expensive rooms). We were not happy to discover that room was not so nice like in pictures and the carpet was very dirty. The swimming pool was all the time covered (they said that's for keeping the water hot). Every time when you want to go to swimming pool you have to ask the staff to remove that cover and to wait a half of hour for this. And surprise! The water was very cold!!! The breakfast was poor, it was even impossible to get a coffee (they said the coffee machine didn't work). When we asked for a sauna, the staff was very unhappy. Realizing that we really disturb them, we decided to leave. But another surprise: they refused the card payment even if before they said it's accepted. So, we were forced to look for a bank to get cash. The location of this hotel is not nice, away of city center. Finally, we don't recommend Casa Elixia Sibiu.
