ABSOLUTE DISASTER AND DISHONES....
1 - no hot water, they rely on warm water heated by the hot weather.
2 - cleaning service is made by the same people who serve breakfast and is limited to changing towels and emptying trash. they won't even remove dust which is comon in doha...
3 - towels are probably 10 years old and worn
4 - carpet is sticky from the dirt... i have never seen such a thing...
5 - they won't treat the room until bugs have taken a good bite at you while you sleep if you sleep ...
6 - i had to pull the bed sheets and throw them on the floor to get them changed
7 - AC pouring water on TV and electric wires , had to cover them with a towel
8 - BREAKFAST : salads and pasta. they don't mind serving the previous day leftovers... scrambled eggs when you raise hell... and it is the same everyday...
9 - WORSE: make sure you get a receipt for you payments and keep them. they might ask you to pay again since personnel steel cash payments and do not post it to your account... if you're lucky, they'll understand it's their fault but don't count on it as they play "can't hear you" and keep asking for payment again ....
THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN M IT'S A NIGHTMARE....

A VERY convenient location for....
Al Mourouj Inn Hotel is a very convenient location for those staying a short time - a week - in Doha. After local standards is a budget hotel.
There are two restaurants near Hotel, modest but good food. I recommend the grilled chicken halves coal fired
It is located about 13 km from Hamad International Airport, neither of the two lines of taxis (white or green - cheaper) can not ask for more than 40 riyals (11 USD).
Located in the historic district, the hotel is across from the National Museum of Qatar (3 min), Museum of Islamic Art (20 min), Souq Waqif (21 min) or Falcon Souq (23 min) Evening Worth to pay a visit to Fanar Qatar Islamic Cultural Center (20 min) and then exit with a dhow in the evening (22.00 hrs!), starting from Dohw Port (27 min), in the bay formed by Cornich.
About Doha Fort: I search a few hours this destination. But it seems that was demolished. I found only work in construction at this site!

Nice management , great location ! I think it has great chance to do much better, no one knows the future, I am sure it will reflect by the current local progress. And expectation depending on by both parties.

Not cheap not nice
12 years since it was built, and the outside retains a suggestion of its glossy pseudo-modern-style beneath the general dust and grime that afflicts the city as a whole. Nothing lasts. In Doha, the maxim is especially true. Once past the automatic doors, the fading red carpet leads past the restaurant, which has no better days to recall, and to a check-in desk fit for the Marx Brothers. Utterly laughable. Inside the room, it is immediately apparent that it is the work of unskilled workers. Unskilled has always been de rigeur in Doha. Personally, I prefer to see the bathroom tiles rather than the grout - or perhaps that grout is just cement. As to the carpet in the bedroom, it had not quite walked out the door, though that may happen soon. After a night of little sleep, due to the wild revving of motorbike engines on the street outside, I ventured into the restaurant for breakfast. Cold tea, toast and ... the last pot of honey. Is this the land of plenty? There are better options elsewhere, if you like to pay the price. "Budget" in this city remains the equivalent of trash. Now of that, there is indeed plenty!

I booked this hotel for my brother online and from the pictures it didn't look too bad, but boy was I wrong. It's a complete deception from the pictures and a health hazard .From the moment you walk in the bad smell coming from the carpet hits you. The carpet has huge dirty stains from years back I assume. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting with yellow marks on the floor and I can't even talk about the toilet. See pictures. The hotel is old and needs a complete refurbishment. I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel. Thank God he only stayed two nights and I was able to find a much better hotel.
