Authentic feel ,Great room ,Wa....
Stayed here for 3 nights during end of May month and i must say the stay was brilliant and service impeccable . Dinner at Roof top restaurant serving Arabic Cuisine was outstanding , with breathtaking view of Doha Corniche and skyline.
Hotel is walkable distance to oldest market of Doha , a true authentic feeling , where you will find everything from garments to spices , perfumes to diamonds , scented oils to Falcons and many more...
Staff was Spot on and Well informed about hotel facilities and local area. I met "SACHIN" who heads Food and beverage department on my first day at the hotel and he was just Amazing . He found me confused at spa level , and not only did he personally drove me through mini Cart to Spa , on the way he explained me about entire facilities at Hotel , about local culture and traditions . Realizing this was my first ever trip to Doha , he made sure i was well take care of and had a comfortable stay . its because of Passionate hotelier like "SACHIN" , my stay was just amazing . You are a true rock star and great asset to the Company . Keep up the great work . Service like this defines true five star standards of hotel . Best of luck and will definitely stay here next time i am travelling to Doha. SHUKRAN.

Charming and well located hote....
The location is the best, just inside the Souq Waqif. The hotel is spread over several buildings, each with its own character. The room was very small, a little overcrowded with furniture (a table and chairs blocked the path between the bed and the bathroom), and my room had no view to the outside, which was a little disappointing. Otherwise, the room was lovely and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly (especially the Nepali staff members!) As a single woman, traveling alone, I felt very safe. I'd definitely stay again. One suggestion: use less perfumed deodorizer in the lobby. It was overpowering.

Charming hotel with the kindes....
I was staying at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel in the Amuraila building for a period of three months for business. Located right in the heart of the Souq, you are constantly stimulated by the voices and musics of the street in the evening and the smells of all the restaurants around. On the top floor of the building there is a delicious Indian restaurant which I highly recommend too. Barely a few hundred meters away you can find the Falcon Souq and the hospital dedicated to the birds, and a bit further the Emir's horse in their stables and camels that are ridden daily by some lucky few. Two streets away from the hotel is the bird market will all kinds of feathery creatures and also pets like cats, dogs, and turtles (even squirrels !) The staff all very kind, professional and attentionate to make your stay the most comfortable possible, and they gave me a real feeling of being at home. I will miss them ! If you decide to stay there I recommend you book the room 5210 which has a little balcony overlooking the Souq and the lively atmosphere.

Good hotel, bad management
We booked a deluxe room through discover Qatar but after reaching the property they gave us a standard room. We were too tired after the overnight flight to check. Would expect a 5 star hotel to have a better management for room allotment.
