Excellent location and comfort....
Nice and cosy guest-house in downtown Aveiro, 10 min walking from the train station and surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops. The room - Campolargo - is very luminous and equipped with basic comforts. Don't expect to find an elevator, it's an old renovated Portuguese house! Breakfast is served from 9 to 11, simple and essential with nice fresh bread, homemade jams, ham, cheese, yogurt, cereals, american coffee/ tea. If you like something more enter in one of the many nearby bars. The staff is friendly, helpful and discrete.

Good location, nice looking and spacious room, value for money. I could not pay by Visa card. They forgot to fill in the soap tank so thanks God we had soap. IT was close to the Central Canal so we only walked around, no car.

Nice to stay but bathroom a di....
We stayed in a small indoor room, with the windows to the floor/stairs. The room’s décor was okay. The bathroom smelled horrible. There is no place in the shower to put any toiletries. The bathroom area is an unplanned disaster area.
Breakfast was a nice surprise.
It is good only to sleep some hours, but with the toilette door closed!

We stayed in a somewhat small room overlooking a quiet street. The room’s décor was okay: red and white. Large windows open on a “balcony” letting in fresh air. The bathroom smelled horrible. There is no place in the shower to put any toiletries. The bathroom area is an unplanned disaster area. Breakfast was self-service in a nice open area. The lady at reception was friendly and informative. Location very central – but quite a long walk from the train station (the locals don’t know the guesthouse or the street in which it is located – were therefore not able to give us clear directions).

Not Good Value for Money but L....
We stayed at this Guesthouse last night. Whilst the lady on reception was lovely and really helpful, the first room they gave us was disgusting!!! I can't tell you what the number of the room was but it was the last one at the back on the first floor on the right hand side. I think I was in a state of shock when she first showed me as she said it is a little small but at least you have a balcony!!! It was that narrow and with a very small double bed between the wall and the double opening doors to the balcony, one could hardly get past the bed to step outside. But then there was the bathroom setup - it was horrible. I requested another room as I found it far too small and not acceptable and at first she said she didn't have another one available, but I think she must have seen the horror on my face because within a couple of minutes she had another room to show me. Thank goodness, because this room was right in the front of the hotel with lots of opening windows for fresh air, and it was huge - it had a queen size double and 3 double bunks, but it was such an improvement.
However, I have to mark this place down based on the shower. We had to wait so long for the hot water to come through and then when it did there was no pressure in the water at all. All it had was a shower curtain, and there were no toiletries supplied, e.g. Shampoo or shower gel. The towels were disgusting, so thin and hard.
On a positive note, the breakfast supplied was lovely with nice cereal & yoghurt and beautiful rolls with plenty of ham and cheese as well as jams.
Location was excellent and wifi worked very well
