Great Place, Great Price
1. Clean: Restrooms and living areas cleaned daily.
2. Comfortable: New furniture kept in good condition.
3. Very Affordable: Buy 10, Take 20 !
4. Free Wifi, Great connection for the Phils.
5. What more can I say. 5-stars.
Location is great, close to malls and pretty close to the bus terminal for the direct bus to Sagada (which is why I stayed here). Big beds (bunks), private lockers. Only cold water showers. Friendly staff. Wifi works fine. Nice for a short stay.

Noisy but still friendly
Just around the corner of a big mall with ATM, food and entertainment. The hostel itself has very friendly staff, bunk beds are huge but if you have the option, ask for a bed not at the first room. That one is just at the intersection of 9th and Main Avenue, which is noisy all night long. Other than that it's a basic, cleanish hostel.

New & Clean
It's a bit of a hassle getting here from the airport but this hostel is centrally located and is near the metro and buses.
They ask for a P1000 deposit when you arrive. The beds are bigger than normal and have full size lockers that you can put your rucksack in. (bring your own lock).
They have not stuffed the room full of beds so there is plenty of space. Free wifi in reception but as with all of the Philippines, it's excruciatingly slow.
Staff are efficient but don't seem to know anything about the local area, Manila or the Philippines. They also have no maps. Make sure you pick one up from the airport arrivals desk when you arrive. The happiest person there is the security guard who is always smiling.
Showers and toilets are new and so are all clean. They are cleaned every day by the staff.
Jeepneys run from the end of the road and there is a supermarket nearby.
There are small shops and street vendors at night for food or if you want something more western or cleaner, the mall is at the end of the road and this has a huge food-court.
Some of the side streets are not well lit but easily avoidable.
I would definitely stay here again.
