I recently stayed at Viengtara Hotel, expecting a relaxing and trustworthy experience, but was extremely disappointed by an incident involving one of their receptionists. I booked a paramotor flight through the hotel, only to later discover that the actual price from the operator was half of that amount.
What’s worse is that this wasn’t a simple mistake — it became clear that this was a deliberate attempt to scam a guest. I had trusted the hotel to provide honest recommendations and fair pricing, especially considering Viengtara’s reputation. This kind of behavior from staff is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the management’s oversight and guest care.
Travelers beware: avoid booking any tours or activities through the hotel, and verify all prices independently. I hope the hotel takes serious action against, as this experience has completely tarnished what could have been an enjoyable stay.
