Great value for money and exce....
My partner and I treated ourselves with a Valentines trip to Venice and we have choosen this hotel without any idea of what to expect. I just saw it was very close to the main tourist attractions.
The hotel is located really close to Rialto bridge and Piazza San Marco. The room is a well size room, very clean and the matress really comfy. The bathroom is a good size too and very functional. We have our breakfast included and I must say it's ok, don't be expecting a buffet, but the croissants are amazing .
Special mention to the staff, very friendly and able to speak in different languages, making the experience really remarkable.
I'll definetly come back to this hotel!!

Excellent hotel, for the price....
Three people sharing one good sized room for seven nights, room was kept very clean, new towels when needed, staff are very friendly, breakfast was an excellent start to the day, very filling. Location was great, first time to Venice for all of us so finding your way around was an experience, but because of the Riallto bridge being only two minute walk to hotel you can never be lost because the bridge is very well signposted.
If you have been have second thoughts about visiting Venice, stop, it is a wonderful place to visit, we were there in Sept 2017, not to crowded weather was fine, the Italian people are more than friendly and helpful. When getting advise for what tickets to buy, the best way is to bypass the ticket machines at the MARCO POLO airport, exit the baggage pick up area and go to the ticket office that is through the door and the the left, there you will be explained in perfect english by the staff what to buy, and this is the same at any ticket office on the canals.
Do visit the Lido, the walk to the beach alone is worth the trip, plus the beach area is clean with great food and drink facilities.
Do ride the bus up and down the canals 24 hour ticket is 20 Euros and the views are exceptional.
St Marks square and all that is there is must and not over priced, plenty of great artwork for sale, food is very reasonable priced but not in the square area
Wonderful holiday and would use the same hotel again, they even store your luggage on the last day and provide a changing room with a shower in at no extra charge.

Great location, 2 mins walk to....
A very well-located budget hotel with friendly and helpful staff who speak English. The room was quiet, very clean, the linen and towels fresh and white with a basic but nice continental breakfast included. I think this is a very good choice for this type and quality of hotel (2 star) in this price range if you want to be in the best location.
As it is a historical Venetian townhouse it doesn't have a lift so you do need to be aware that there are two flights of stairs that you need to be able to carry your luggage up.
Although the WiFi isn’t free it only costs 5 euros for 24 hours of use. The 24 hours is not per day but hours of use which means you can log on and off on all the days you are there until you have used up 24 hours of internet use.

stay away from it!!!
My husband and I stayed here for 1 night in room 24,and it was not as advertised at all. The shower room was tiny and was over the toilet. It was unusable and would have taken 10 minutes to fill a tea cup!!.The hot water also only trickled out of the basin tap. It was filthy and the bottom of the door was rotten. The walls were paper thin and you could hear them in their toilet next door. We would not have expected to have paid so much for such a bad room (128 euros) The girl on reception just laughted when we expressed our disgust. We had stayed in Hotel Saturnia for 135 euros the night before and it was fabulous.

Good location, once you find i....
Basic room, decent bed, and a tiny bathroom but it was all very spotless and with everything any unfussy, tired traveller needs. We stayed for two nights. The continental breakfast is very good value (warm croissants! great coffees and lots of nice jams and little cheeses too) and it is most welcome. The staff are kind and friendly. Be aware that the cord in the bathroom is an alarm and has nothing to do with starting the dehumidifier! And in any case, you could die of a heart attack after lugging heavy suitcases up those stairs and nobody would come to your rescue! Unfortunately, the owner feels the need to charge for WiFi which is just so chintzy when the rest of the world offers free WiFi to their guests who are trying to contact family to let them know we've arrived safely, or figure out travel schedules and check out Trip Advisor for good restaurants nearby! (Avoid the L'Olandese Volante next door, below the 38 stairs to the hotel entry, where there are snotty waiters offering terrible service for overpriced drinks and food).
