Was unfortunate to stay here for two nights in may 2018 , we were originally booked at maestre , but were asked here to shift her by booking agent , who said that staying in Venice itself would be exciting .. Venice was one of the most disappointing places I have been . Smelly ,stinking of sewage water plus , the hotel was one of the most run down hotel I have ever stayed . It’s a true case for bringing it down by the municipal authorities before someone gets hurt in a accident here . Extremely claustrophobic lift , rooms which have huge cracks in the wall . Room had curtains with half broken plaster ,on top Tiles in the bathroom were almost all broken , every time we visited the loo we hoped we wouldn’t have cuts in our foot .
The only thing which works for the hotel is the location , it’s right next to the basilica and the tourist attractions
Serious please avoid this hotel like you would avoid plague

Disastrous and Dilapidated. Av....
We booked 3 nights through Travelplan.
Presumably a 4 star hotel.
It is a hostel rather than a hotel.
The only good news is that it has a lift that works. The room was dilapidated and dirty. Bathroom had mold, water stains and falling plaster from roof leaks.
Cracked walls and 60's ancient furniture.
Water stains on room walls and a beautiful view of a workers scaffold and nasty tile roof. But the piece de resistance was: no air conditioner. Presumably broken due to an "electrical problem". The temp in the room was in the 90's (5th floor) and the mosquitoes were rampant.
We abandoned ship, lost our 3 nights and moved elsewhere with a clean room and excellent a/c. Still smarting from having to pay for 2 hotels. Stay away, please.

Very basic rooms, great locati....
The title says is all: don’t expect anything from the room. Very, very basic, small, but absolutely clean. No view from my room, but I would not expect this in Venice.
The reception staff were extremely helpful and polite.
Location is great if you want to stay very central (I prefer somewhat away from the very Centre, where it is quieter and a bit more like the real Venice).

Home away from home
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at All'Angelo, the staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are comfy, clean and felt like my home. Breakfast was all encompassing, so much to choose from and always delicious! The hotel is very close to San Marco Basilica, Rialto Market (must go there) that I loved taking a different direction each day to go exploring. I definitely would return to All'Angelo again.

Four Night in Venice
We stopped at the all angelo hotel for four nights ,The location is excellent,The breakfast is good ,But the room was very average ,The furniture is worn & dated , There were a couple of plugs not working ,The one in the bathroom worked but not the ones in the room,The room was clean ,But not the outside of the room ,The carpets were dirty you can see they have not been hoovered , The carpet was taped together ,The ceiling by the lifts was cracked & had water marks on.This is definitely not a four star more like two star ,The location is excellent a five minute walk to St Marks Square ,There is a safety deposit box which was a joke its not even screwed to the wall you can walk off with it ,Its only a small one .One morning we went to breakfast & in the Breakfast room was a smell of sewerage which we smelt in our re
turn after breakfast ,No smell the other days .
