Tiny and shabby
Billed as "elegant and cozy, this hotel is more accurately shabby and tiny – plaster patchers on the wall, wallpaper peeling, threadbare rugs, supplies and equipment stored in the hallways. What it has going for it are location (not on a canal, but in a rundown courtyard) on a busy main shopping street (lots of tourists and second-rate restaurants geared to them) and pretty much near everything, and it is relatively cheap by Venice standards. But, wifi, which is free, is weak and intermittent, breakfast is cold (muesli, biscuits, white rolls, triangles of processed cheese wrapped in foil, sweetened yogurt – but good coffee), tiny tv with Italian channels only, no hot water kettle for making your own tea. Staff were nice enough. So, if you are looking for somewhere cheap and serviceable, this might be the place for you.

Very small rooms
We stayed in a 3 bed room, at the second floor i think. The breakfast is poor. Very poor. Italian like poor. The staff is however friendly and kind. With one exception. We did not know about the city tax of 20 EUR / person (we stayed a week) until we left. The location is not center but it is not far from the Casino and vaporetto stops. The rooms are small, and crowded, old furniture. It is not so bad. Definetely a budget hotel.
OOOhhh, i almost forgot, the 3 bed room was actually a 2 bed room in which they placed another bed at the feet of the other two. So we had to move things around. WI-fi is not free, i think it is only in the lobby and quite expensive.

Amazing stay! Hotel in a great location (just off main street) with lovely canal view. Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Provided us with map and pointed out key locations to visit. Breakfast served at time requested and very nice! Hotel and room very clean.
10/10 would return!

lOur 2016 cruise Plus hotel st....
We had two rooms as there were 4 of us.Apart from being very small our air conditining unit was broken electric plug falling off wall.(there was only one plug spare too)Overall we were very unhappy. The staff did there best and were as helpfull as they could be.As this hotel was part of a cruise deal booked through JETLINE CRUISES we had another night there on our return. As we had told them we were unhappy they moved us to another hotel on our return. This was quite acceptible apart from the mile walk with the porter carrying our cases on a wheelbarrow. Our cruise was fantastic with Norweigan so it was sad that our hotel stay spoilt our overall holiday.I wrote a long letter to Jetline Cruise in Sept on our return. To date i have received NO response from them .I have also phoned a couple of times and was told i would be called back.Never have been called. I would go again with Norweigan cruises but we shall never use JETLINE CRUISES again!!

Great Location & Very Cheap & ....
Stayed here for 3 nights in Sept and yes it is not without faults but if you're looking for a budget stay in Venice for a couple of nights this would be ok.
Firstly the location is excellent sort of equi-distant between the station & The Rialto. It's quite an easy walk if you're mobile enough, failing that the Vaporeto stop is Casino only a couple of stops down the Grand Canal. The hotel is just off the main drag in a small courtyard with a canal alongside.
The rooms are very basic, our air con unit worked but could not cope with the 30c heat. The shower took some getting used to as it kept going cold.
Breakfast is very basic (croissant, biscotti, jams and spreddy cheese was about your lot).
All staff were very friendly but it does need a complete redecoration. Would I stop here again if going to Venice? Probably not.
