The hotel overlooks the canal of Santa Chiara and is located close to Piazzale Roma, a popular square that serves as the main bus station for Venice.
It was exactly what we needed, on waterfront, right behind Piazzale Roma and the People Mover, easy to get around, clean, with excellent breakfast, lift and a huge bathroom. Free WiFi is a bonus as well. What a gem! Will definitely stay there, the best location for the cruise port (Marittima).

Picked this hotel for proximity to cruise terminal and people mover (transport to cruise terminal). Central location near bus terminal and ferry stop to get around Venice and hotel was easy to reach from the airport. Clean and spacious room thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

It is very closely located to Santa Lucia Station which came in handy. We were given room 102 which is adjoining with room 101, we noticed that the adjoining door was unlocked and then called the front desk to get it locked, he made us come down and get the key. We did notice though that luckily our room came with it's own shower and toilet. Room 101 has to use the facilities on the floor. The floor of the hotel is uneven and bubbly, they provide mosquito coils, but probably best to bring rid, we didn't sleep till we killed every mosquito in the room. You have to hand the key back to the front staff everytime you leave the hotel, annoying and a little freaked out that anyone could come back and ask for our room key, seriously not very good security especially when the front desk change shifts. It is fine for one night, no longer! . The hotel does not provide a map and you have to pay for your own at the tourist places for 3 euro. You also have to pay 2 euro per person per day for the people tax or what not.

Good clean inexpensive hotel, because they are converted Monks Cells we got single beds in adjoining rooms as opposed to a double room, there was a bathroom between. If you like soft beds, beware the beds are very hard.
