Hotel is situated very near to termini station. I did find it difficult to find the hotel, the signs are not very good. Breakfast was great. Our room was big and the bathroom had a gym in it. We did not use it, but for someone who likes to gym, it would have been great. Reception was very helpful to give advice.

Good location in Central Rome near to Via Nazionale and to Rome's main train station. The hotel is attractively decorated and the rooms have a very pleasant feel to them. A decent spread was put on for breakfast.

You might choose this room if.....
price and location are your primary concerns and your back can handle a well worn bed. It is what I would expect if staying with an aunt in central Rome, a small room which opens to a central court yard (you have your own keys and there is no shared space), no windows other than in the door, a bed which has been well used (and was so soft that I needed to sleep on the floor to save my back). It was clean enough. Breakfast consists of make-it-yourself coffee (it isn't drip coffee, so that is a plus), boxed juice in a mini fridge, yogurt, and some prepackaged cakes which were really bad. You are expected to pay cash, and a list of regulations which are none too friendly are provided. There appears to be no internet. Basically, this is the quality of a 2-3 star hotel with no public space. The plus is that it isn't as sleazy as the hotel since there is only 1 room and it is private. The price was good for the location, at 90 euros a night during early season.

While the room itself is very basic, the location is ideal. Minutes from Colosseum and Roman Forum, but also a short walk to the Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. Travelers looking to see the Vatican/St Peter's will need to take a bus, but Paolo explains how to do so and this only takes about ten minutes. Also several restaurants varying in price/atmosphere within 5 minute or less walk from b&b. (Several gelateries too!) Overall, could not have asked for better location.

Excellent little find
This b&b has a great location, minutes from the Colosseum and very handy for other sights and the train station. Paola the owner was very welcoming and gave lots of info about getting round the city, where to eat etc. While the room isn't huge, it comes with a very well equipped in suite, as well as coffee-making and breakfast facilities. Despite being close to a main road, the room is quiet, and very secure. Topped off with a complementary glass of wine on arrival (plus a second one a few days later, as it was my birthday while there!), this was an excellent find that we will certainly try again in the future.
