Don't book here - you can do m....
This B&B describes itself as 'four-star and luxury' but it couldn't be further from the truth. It's at best 'two-star budget'.
The photos listed online are not accurate, we were extremely disappointed upon arrival to see what we had paid for did not match our expectations.
The room was tiny, the bed hard and the bed cover had stains. The lamps had stains and cracks. The air conditioner was from another era and did not work. God help anyone staying here in summer.
The bathroom had what appeared to water damage and the tiles/grout had not been cleaned in a long time. The breakfast was average, and the coffee did not taste like coffee. The wifi dropped out regularly. On the first night I raised this with the manager Jerry, who seemed nice enough and managed to fix it once he realised it was actually not working. He also gave us free bottles of water which was nice.
But he then changed his tune when we tried to arrange an airport transfer for earlier than the starting time. He was unhelpful and rude and "not his problem".
So thank goodness it was close to Termini Train Station which we could walk to and catch the airport express train.
This place made me feel disappointed I didn't book somewhere else, and also glad my holiday was ending.

Very good for the price
Very good location in the centre of Rome. The rooms are small, but ok if just want to sleep there, you don't need more space. The breakfest is not really very rich, but again, at least you go out fed up. The only thing that I would recomment is NOT to count on the advertised transfer from the airport, when I called, that we have arrived (I called even the day before to tell them what time we are going to arrive), I was told, that the transfer is busy and we have to take the train. The train costs 14 euro if you want the fast one and 8 if you don't care about the time spent in it. But considering the location, breakfest etc, it's ok for the money you pay.

Lovely hotel in an unbeatable ....
This hotel had everything we needed for a city break in Rome. The location is unbeatable, walking distance to all the local attractions (12 mins to the Trevi fountain) public transport links are a stones throw away and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. We couldn't believe our luck! The hotel is a little tricky to find if you haven't done your research. We tried to get the free shuttle pick up from the airport but no one was available. We understood this so got a shuttle from the airport for just under €5 each to the termini station which is only a 10 minute walk to the hotel. I simply used google maps on my phone to find the hotel, then rang the owner who let me in. I would recommend that you street view the hotel before going so you have an idea of what you're looking for, we did this and found it no problem.
The staff are very friendly and always happy to help. We managed to get a free shuttle to the airport on our last day which saved us money and effort! We didn't have hot water on some of the days but the staff did everything they could to rectify it so we did not complain.
The rooms are basic but have everything you need eg. Wifi, daily maid service, mini fridge etc. We were extremely very happy with the value for money these rooms represent.
Breakfast was included and was a nice touch as it meant we could fuel up for our busy days of site seeing almost immediately.
If you want a hotel that's cheap and cheerful that's centrally located, this is a no brainer! We would definitely book again if we ever return to Rome and I have recommended them to all my friends and family!

Self-Service B&B with Rude Own....
When we arrived to I Giardini del Quirinale, there was no one to answer the buzzer. It had a non-descript facade with really nothing to indicate that it's the location of the B&B so make note of that if you're trying to find it late at night. We rang the buzzer several times but to no avail- no one seemed to be there.
It was getting quite late at this point and we attempted to go find a phone to get ahold of the hotel. Someone answered after the second call and hurriedly told us that he was at his other hotel and would be at Quirinale in 45 minutes. Since we had gone quite a distance to find a phone, it took us 25-30 minutes to get back to the hotel. Still, with 15ish minutes to spare. We waited outside for 20 minutes and no one showed up. Eventually, a family entered the building and they kindly let us in. We made our way to the B&B's floor and proceeded to sit there and wait for the next 45 minutes. No one ever showed. At this point, we were forced to go a couple doors down to another hotel and buy a last-minute hotel room for the night.
When I called Giardini in the morning to inquire about the night before, the man claimed that someone showed up and didn't see us there and had the audacity to say that it looked like we never showed up. Well, we sat outside the door of your b&b for 45 minutes and there's video footage to prove it as there's a security camera set up right at the corner of the door.
Additionally, even if he had showed up early (within that 30 minute time period in which we were heading back to the hotel), shouldn't he have waited knowing that he had guests coming? And waited the full 45 minutes? That is, if he even ever came.
They were rude and unpleasant to deal with and I would suggest people spare themselves the grief of dealing with a place like this and finding a place that actually has some service available. This place is basically a glorified hostel.

4 nights in Rome
This was below our expectations on more than one level not a hotel more like a very noisy dusty b&b, you may be impressed if your used to back packer accomodation but expensive at NZ$600.00 for 4 nights (that price included a 11% discount) not a place I would recommend. One good thing was the central location metro is approx 5 min walk & Termini Station is only 7/8 minutes walk.
