DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS
Stayed here Last week and it was a huge mistake, the hotel has ridiculous policies (which I understand many other places in Italy have based on experience after this stay) about late check-in. We arrived later than planned and couldn't call seeing as we didn't have a roaming plan and therefore were charged a new booking since we arrived after midnight. I understand that they also charge 30 euros for arriving after 10:30 pm even if you warn them of your late arrival, it is simply their policy they said and is not their problem if our flight was delayed. They were not accommodating at all and made me feel like leaving immediately. I even tried finding another hotel on the spot to avoid giving them any extra money but seeing as it was late already by this point we just wanted to sleep and so we paid the extra promising to complain through our booking site Agoda (Agoda did reimburse us this complete disaster of a problem btw so thanks to THEIR great service). In fact in my conversation with Agoda they apparently tried reasoning with this hotel (which I agree with Sarah F. below should be 1 star and all her points were confirmed) and could not get them to reverse this fee for us either which is why Agoda ended up paying us back for this issue. The shower wouldn't drain so we had to bathe our feet in filth as we showered. The walls were paper thin and we could hear both neighbors talking through the walls. Also, every time our upper neighbors flushed their toilet, our own toilet would act up. Their just isn't any positive point I can give to this hotel which I implore you not to give any business to and let them run themselves out of business for the sake of every future tourist wanting a nice experience visiting Rome.

Worst experience ever UPON ARR....
We arrived late (our flight was 45 mins late) and they charged us 129€ for arriving after midnight even though in our confirmation email it doesn’t say anything about the hours of arriving late. I mean 12:30 and they can’t accommodate the guest and understand that a flight can be late! How not to attract tourists 101! I wish I can give them no stars for this. Honestly it was a very bad first night in Rome .

A bit out of the way
Looks nothing like the professional pictures on their website.
Its old and cheaply done.
In the morning there was no hot water. The bed was crazy soft. Breakfast was cakes, cereal, toast, cold cuts, nothing special. About 10 min walk to the transit. Some restaurants near by but not the most popular area for tourists.
We were there as part of a tour.

Awful! Checked out after 1 nig....
Absolute disaster of a place, plenty better in Rome for your money. Overpriced hostel. We arrived an hour before check in and were told to wait til 3 - no tea/coffee available no restaurant nothing open at all told to go down the street if we wanted something to eat or drink. Waited in line to check in with several angry guests ahead of us complaining about the place. Had to pay a deposit then which is ridiculous for a 4 star hotel.. which I soon learned it should only have 1 star if even such a thing. Got to room - standard double room in 4 star should have been safe enough at least clean/comfortable.. filthy! 2 beds pushed together in tiny room, no duvet just an itchy wool blanket, decor and facilities of the late 80s. Turned around and went back to reception to complain/get upgraded. Was told to pay 160 extra for ONE NIGHT in their 'deluxe' room.. this was what I expected my standard double to be. Small bare room with a rock hard bed, one chair in middle of room that you couldn't pay me to sit on. T.v. on wall on other side of room but no batteries in remote, limited towels, no toiletries - we booked another hotel immediately and left at the crack of dawn the next day as we were told we would have to go back to hostel room the next day. It was my partners birthday that day and the whole thing ruined the day on us. Staff were ok but hotel policies are ridiculous. It's a hostel not a 4 star!

Would not recommend.
Unfortunately this hotel was not the best. The rooms were tiny, the showers dribbled at best, the wifi was iffy and unfortunately the service we received was less than impressive. On one of our nights, the lights went out several times lasting about half an hour. The breakfast was good though. And admittedly, when the boys went for a few beers in the hotel bar, the staff member who served them was prompt (despite not actually manning the bar but somewhere else... reception maybe?). The location however, is right near a train station so that was handy but not enough for me to consider booking with them again.
