Good hotel, conveniently locat....

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel as part of a tour we were on. I was a little wary based on the TA reviews I had read but they were unwarranted in my opinion. It is located .5 km from Termini train station so easy access to anywhere in Rome. The room was recently renovated and was very adequate for our needs. It reminded me a little of a dorm room but it had all the amenities that we needed. Breakfast was good and served on the top floor and has a outdoor terrace that made our early morning meal a treat. The staff were pleasant and provided a secure storage for our passports at the front desk. We felt totally safe. If you are looking for good accommodation and not wanting to spend a lot...this is a good venue.

Good hotel for family stay!!

The hotel well located near to the Roma Termini railway station and also the nearest metro station is walkable. The rooms were big enough for couples to stay. The only issue is with the breakfast, as you may not get many options for breakfast other than fruits and bread if you are vegan.

Pros, cons and caveats

Pros- great location, 10 mins from termini with a supermarket 2 mins away mini fridge to save a few euros nice customer service Cons-the hotel is old, as in one elevator with space for only two people and still uses an actual key old. Also the door doesn't auto lock so you have to lock it from the inside with the key Caveats-you need to turn in the key every time you leave the hotel and pick it up when you return Tiny shower stall, [also stayed in Venice and the shower was about the same size] No floor numbers after the first floor *My biggest criticism/concern is the key policy. The person who checked me in was not the same person on duty when i returned and i was never asked to verify if the key i asked for was really mine, this happened twice during my 5 night stay, the same person was on night duty for 3 nights and recognized me by then.

Pleasant and relaxing.

Enjoyed a five-night stay in late August 2017. Small family business in a peaceful area, close to Roma Termini. Beautiful outdoor setting on the sixth floor to enjoy a buffet breakfast and watch the day unfold. Pleasant staff with no request too difficult for Reception to respond.

Small, value for money hotel

A small hotel just a few minutes walk from Roma Termini station. There is a place to store your luggage if you arrive prior to check-in. There is a small, old fashioned elevator; the type that has an external wrought iron door and a separate internal door. It can take a maximum of two people at a time. Ignore this at your peril! During our stay a group of four got in which caused the elevator to break down resulting in guests needing to lug their suitcases up and down stairs until it was repaired. The rooms are small but clean and are serviced daily. I was quite alarmed at my first sight of the bath towels - more like giant tea towels than the fluffy things I'm used to. Oddly enough they were extremely effective. As with all hotels, whether your room is quiet is pretty much luck of the draw. Our room was rather unfortunately situated on the second floor facing the street, thus quite noisy. We were travelling as part of a larger group and others in the group did not have this problem. Likewise the firmness of the mattress appeared to differ from room to room. I like a firm mattress but ours was uncomfortably so. Rooms are equipped with a bar fridge (empty), free wifi and a TV. The reception office is staffed 24 hours a day. There is an ample buffet breakfast. The default coffee is 'Americana' (ie rather tasteless filter coffee) however they will happily make you an espresso if you ask for one. If clean and comfortable with friendly staff is more important to you than luxury then it would be worthwhile considering this hotel.
