Had accident on transfer from airport to hotel. So never actually got into hotel until my second day. Hotel staff bought chair for me to sit on in road outside hotel while waiting for ambulance. Were charged city tax for 4 nights when I only did 2 and son 3. The path up to hotel from road is on incline so had trouble getting up and down it as was on crutches. Room was changed for me to cope with but still not good. Disabled room offered was even worse as big step and around side of hotel in annexe over cobbles. So had to put up with it till flight home. (No wheelchair to borrow) No invacuchair if needed to get out quick for fire etc...
Felt like a prisoner and in the way!
Not seen any sights of Rome complete waste of money.

Rome Garden Hotel
A lovely hotel, just outside the city walls. The room was spacious and clean. The towels were changed every day. Breakfast was plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bus stop to the city centre is nearby. It's situated near some lovely restaurants.

Nice room but noisy.
Booked this hotel as part of a package with easyJet holidays. The reception staff were really friendly and spoke good English (which is a bonus if you don’t speak Italian). The room was nice and clean and was provided with extra pillows and blankets and the bathroom had shower gel and soap also. There was no kettle in the room, which I found strange, but if you go down to the reception they will make one for you. Only trouble is it is not free which I think it should be. It was added on to our city tax which we paid when we checked out. Probably why I was asked if I was ok when I was helping myself to coffee one night!
There is a nice garden to sit in in the evenings when it is warm, we made use of hat every night, and you can drink your own wine or beer, brought from the shop just 5 minutes away.
Not much in the way of restaurants nearby, we found one about 10 mins away and it was delicious so we kept going back! The one we did get told about was shut!
The biggest problem I had was the fact that the doors to the room were old wooden ones, which look nice but they don’t keep out the noise of other people coming back. Ours didn’t meet at the top either so didn’t look overly secure. We made use of the safe in the room. We could also hear the noise of the toilet being flushed from the room next door so they could probably hear ours.
Fairly central location if you like walking, took us an hour to get to the Vatican and also about 45 minutes from the Colosseum, but we don’t mind walking and you get to see some other sights while walking the side streets of Rome.
Only reason it dropped to a 4 was the thin doors to the room, otherwise it was a great hotel with a good breakfast.

Stayed here (young couple) for just three nights. The annex room we stayed in didn’t look like the picture, but it was ok and clean. Not a very cosy room though and we were woke up every single morning by cleaners!! They cleaned outside and you could hear them each time, there is also a gap under the door which even if we tried to fill in with the spare blanket didn’t really help. You could hear people in the rooms next door coming in and talking. There is no water provided in rooms and no fridge which was a bit inconvenient. Shower was not the best, bed was ok to sleep on. Staff were very lovely and extremely helpful however. Not far from all the ‘touristy’ places in a taxi, about 10 mins to all the main places which was fab. Overall for price and location wasn’t bad, but wouldn’t stay again due to the noise.

Lovely hotel but woken at 7.30....
The hotel was lovely, friendly reception staff.
However, my partner and myself arrived on Tuesday 13th which was my birthday, we had a late night and a few drinks, the next morning the cleaner woke me up at 7.30 am making so much noise outside our door then loudly knocking which woke my partner up. We were both unhappy with this and spoke to the receptionist about this, they were very lovely and apologetic. Come the Thursday morning the cleaners started hoovering at 8.00am again waking us up!
On the Thursday night as we were so tired we tried to have an early night, as we were laying in bed we could hear someone in another room snoring, this shows how the rooms aren't very sound proof at all.
Come the Friday morning 7.30am the cleaners started again making noise, waking myself up then started hoovering at 7.45 am. I find this extremely unacceptable when check out isn't till 11.00am! Myself and my partner expect to have lie ins as we were on holiday and I wanted to celebrate my birthday without being disturbed.
On check out I spoke to the receptionist again about this issue and they were apologetic but I don't feel they actually did much to prevent the issue while we were staying.
Due to this issue I have actually told people NOT to stay at this hotel and unfortunately I would NOT recommend it to anyone in the future.
Also I wasn't keen on the fact duvet covers weren't used and a sheet was just wrapped around the duvet, which came off in the night leaving a duvet cover lots of other people have slept with.
