Going by the other reviews, I'm not sure if we were just lucky but the one night we spent here was fine. Obviously the room standard is what you pay for, but they were clean, heated and the hot water in the shower worked fine.
On check in, the two gentlemen at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful, and even helped us carry one of the bags up to the room- There are no elevators, which is worth keeping in mind if you're travelling with a big suitcase.
It's extremely close to Rome Termini, so if you just need a place to rest after a long day of exploring you should be fine.

Very poorly kept hotel. I visited in December 2017 and as it was cold, they didn’t even turn on the heating and you have no control of that. Plus every time you leave the hotel, you have to leave the key at reception as they said people kept losing keys. I was there for a few hours and booked an air bnb as Expedia cancelled my booking and gave a refund. Do not go to this hotel and get a nice house / flat on Air BnB instead for a similar price.

Pretty rough, you get what you....
Staff was fabulous. Carpets were filthy. Shower was basically nonexistent. Bed was was a board. Balcony over the Roman Baths was fun, but the chairs were covered with bird droppings.
This is a clear case of getting what you pay For. The staff were fabulous! Helpful and friendly. However, the hotel itself is interesting. From the 30 year old carpeting that hasn’t been cleaned to the bathroom that hasn’t been updated, also for 30 years. Whilst talking about the bathroom let me mention that shower is in the middle of the room, albeit with a close quarters shower curtain.

Bed Bugs Ruined Stay
We stayed in room 39 9/7/2017. The hotel room itself was quite small, dark and dingy, and the bathroom was more of a wet room and so flooded every time you showered. This though is fairly standard for a cheap European hotel and so we were willing to look past this. We were not however able to look past the presence of bed bugs. This meant we were unable to sleep for being bitten and had to move hotels at 4AM, and is something wholly unacceptable for a hotel, especially one which claims to be 3*.
To the credit of the hotel, the staff were very helpful and understanding of the situation, they organised the replacement hotel and 4AM and didn't make us pay for the night even when we offered to. They offered us to move rooms but, we, I think understandably, could not face another night, as it was the worst we have had in a hotel.
The hotel is in a good location but I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there, bed bugs is a recurring theme on here, and if you absolutely must stay there I'd check the mattress very carefully before hand.

The worst hotel I have ever be....
Teriible, dirty walls. Camping beds. Awful depressing colours. Dirty dirty dirty . LCD but walls absolutely disgusting. Apparently daily room cleaning- the same. rubbish in the room left for 3 days. Empty bottles from the floor instead disposed off, chucked into a wardrobe. Own towel went missing and despite asking for the towel back to sign of it . Road leading up to the hotel stunk of feaces and urine. Extremely dissapointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please keep away!!!!!!!!!
