We were a little worried when we got to the hotel and discovered it was on one of the upper floors of what was an apartment building. But we found the room was very nice. It was situated in a corner of the building, so we had a small balcony that had a view of the one of the old porticos. It was clean, with clean linen. There were four of us in the room. A little cramped for four, but still satisfactory. There were only 8 rooms, with two people on staff, working alternating shifts. The host was great, providing us breakfast in our room at our requested time, with delicious croissants, bread, butter, and jelly, and orange juice. He was very courteous and friendly, and really added to making our stay one that we will remember fondly. We would definitely stay here again.

I liked the friendliness and intimacy of a small hotel in a typical Roman neighbourhood close to the Borghese Gardens. Breakfast is served in your room as there is no restaurant and my room at the back of the building was quiet.
