Very modest conditions but nic....
Positives first: People at the reception are extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is in the city centre at walking distance to major attractions, but located on a small and cozy side street not affected by the traffic noise. Our room was on the ground floor close to the wifi. Good and uninterrupted internet connection saved our lives when we had to deal with an unexpected development during our stay. Beddings and bathroom was clean. And the restaurant across the hotel is just fantastic for dinner.
However: The building is as old as you can think, and the condition of accommodation is more like a hostel. Small, dark room with scaffolding outside the window, pre-historic aircon hole in the wall leaving you worried about potential non-human visitors, and a stark smell of humidity and mold in the room. Breakfast is on demand and very modest. Better to have your coffee somewhere outside.

Good Location, BUT very hot
The hotel is on a quiet street, not far at all from all the sights and attractions of central Rome. The room was small, but adequate for the 2 nights which e spent in it. The bathroom was clean, and there was all the amenities you would expect. However the "air conditioning" left a lot to the imagination. At night it was very warm and stuffy, and there seemed to be luke warm air being pumped out of what was a very small AC unit. The room was however very quiet, and the bed was comfortable.
Overall i would say that if they sorted out the AC then this hotel would be an excellent choice as is so close to all the attractions, yet makes you feel like you are in a very quiet part of the city.

Does what it says on the tin
Clean room, about a mile from spanish steps, metro only 3 min up road, great restaurant across way. The air con worked great and staff were helpfull. One issue, only one socket in the room which was being used by tv and fridge but being the bright spark I am just unplugged the tv and presto.

BED BUGS, Air Conditioning and....
OMG!!!! So we check in to the hotel for 4 nights which has a good location but then we get to our room! Very small, dated and unclean. We sleep in the room for 3 nights sweating terribly due to the air conditioning not working until they moved us to another room for our final night.
I then woke up at around 3am to something crawling on me so I turned the lights on to find this big bug like thing on me so I squashed it and blood came out. Naturally we jumped up out of bed and pulled the sheets back. To our horror we uncovered at least another 7-8 immediately crawling where we were just lying naked!!!! Over the next 10min more appeared. I ran to reception (where he was lying asleep on the couch) and woke him and made him come with me to see. He then told us that there were no more rooms and to sleep there and they would try and change the room the following day. He then just walked off. No change of sheets or sorry!!! So we just sat in our room waiting for the first train to get to the airport to try and sleep there.
Also over the 4 days they had a different receptionist every single time we walked past. You have to leave the key with them each time you leave. The problem is when you come back it's a new receptionist you have never met. So you ask for the key and they just hand it over without even checking to see if it's the correct guest!!
Please do not stay here!!!!

Beautiful week in Rome
Its a small but nice and very clean hotel in downtown Rome. Viviana and staff was informed and very kind throughout our stay. Breakfast was versatile. There was always hot water and we highly recommend this hotel.
